Heard of Mibbit? Is connecting users to IRC channels like they do difficult/expensive?

I do not have coding skill but am willing to pay, but what I'm curious about, is how hard is what they are doing over there really. I'm talking to them about white label options, I have a great domain for this - people looking for live chat, but I'm thinking that the whole functionality of the thing shouldn't be rocket science. IRC has been around for more than a minute. Connecting users through these various mediums, computer browser to smartphone browser, to IRC like they're doing shouldn't be that unique or impossible to emulate.

How expensive would it be to do so?

Alternatively, if you have a website that attracts visitors looking for live chat, what's the easiest white-label route?

    Thanks for ANY advice!
