After long-time staying in front of the PC/laptop, I sometimes find myself with some minor health issues that have concerned me lately.

Slight dizziness, slight headache, back hurt, neck hurt, all of those from the long time working on a screen.

Any of you have these kind of issues, and has any of you taken them into consideration and/or visited the doctor for that ?

    Thanks.

This happens when your posture is awful and you don't walk away from your computer enough during the day for breaks.
You could go visit the doc just incase.

If you work from home or on a computer, exercising is a must because of the sedentary nature of the job.

I know what you mean, and I have a few tips for you.

For one, work smart, not hard. Prioritize your tasks, think what you really need to do in order to get the results you want, and do the necessary work, but don't try to do it all at once. Work for a few hours, then take a break. Go out, have fun, spend time with your friends, do sports, and work for another few hours when you return.

For two, always work behind a desk. Also, it's important to make sure that both your chair and desks are comfortable. If not, replace them.

I think all posts here are good. I guess we all who spend too much time in front of computer have similar problems. With job like this, you really MUST do some sport. sitting in front of computer all day is very bad for your neck and back and headaches and similar problems can be related to this.

Neck pain is often an indicator of a magnesium deficiency (which a lot of people have without knowing).

Buy some Magnesium powder on Amazon and take a high dose (depends of the kind of magnesium you buy and its purity. for dosage information use webmd (dot) com) before going to bed. Its also very good for your sleep, too.

Thank you all for the replies. I really need to join a gym and take more breaks as I stand seated a lot during the day and it will definitely harm me more in the future.

I sometimes have the problem of Backpain since I entered IM.. One who suffers from the same problem should use some Tips to avoid and overcome such problems. Here is how I eliminated it.

    Using Treadmill
Walking at least 1-2Kms/Day(not on Treadmill)
Going to Gym and warming up with some useful workouts.
