I disagree. I can create 100 PAA sites with just a total of $2500. Do they do any other stuff too to bring good traffic? Or are they using AI models?

I responded to you already. If it can be done by anyone, do it yourself instead of expecting others to do it for you. You'll come up with more original ideas and have total control over the project if you do this.
I won't do that, to answer your question. Because if the method is available to everyone, it will quickly become saturated. Furthermore, there is a chance to make millions of dollars, so why would anyone sell his service for a few thousand dollars?

When he says it's not a 'nickel and dime' operation - he means there's a group that's pushing this at scale. Everything that can be thought of, and everything that is beyond your thought paradigm is being done.
There are companies making their Text models public - now do you think there are no individual teams leveraging this and running their own setup?
All this requires a lot of fire power. And yes, there are people doing it. And banking equally hard.

Something like this:
- Split the sentences into tokens.
- Paraphrase words and phrases.
- Whenever possible, change the order of words.
- Whenever possible, change the order of sentences.

so true. This is why I'm not planning to sell my script. Also it's constantly evolving and I would have to provide customer support. If you can make money without hiring almost any people it's probably the best way. Little overhead and noone bothering you
- Generate a few thousand “seed” keywords for our sub-niche.
- Scrape ~200 PAAs for each seed. Now you are left with around 100k PAAs after removing the duplicates.
- Check the US volume for each of these 100k PAA keywords. Use positive US volume keywords as titles of articles because US == $$.
- Check the SERPs competition for each positive volume keyword. I created an algorithm that checks the relevancy, and authority of the pages and also looks for pages with user-generated content.
- Choose ~1k most promising keywords out of our pool.
- Generate articles by clustering semantically relevant keywords together.
- When generating articles it's paraphrasing the snippets using a custom algorithm.
- Generate custom images.
- Post to WordPress using the REST API.
- Rinse and repeat until I have the number of articles I want.
