i think could go cheap. as its a crap listing and not listed right. me personally would of listed that on .com rather than uk. and also made a better listing.

yeh i been in touch with them and they mainly done it to promote their other site popjam. but with 1mill uniques. it wont die just yet. plenty of traffic there.. and yeh i was thinking about the same figure. 10kish. or even cheaper.

If I had the cash right now... it'd be a good investment at least for a few months.

is there a way to copy the way he promotes his sites/creates hype and goes viral - almost by design?

I have my own way of generating hype but this guy is a real pro. Do you have any insights on this or anyone for that matter.

I am looking at a few projects that this is essential in but I want to go viral inside a niche.

I bet he got a lot of the attention from the media, that shit has been in the papers every day since it happened.

well i think personally he used some of old contacts he got while milliondollarhomepage took off. i heard he got some ncie sources and contacts. inc some high up people in the press world. so i reckon he just sent them the site and some info. then some of them actually published it for him again. or he paid for the advertising. he spent a fair bit when advertising the milliondollarhomepage. and had a pr agent etc i think. so with all that in place. its no wander he got where he is with that site to...

as for making a site like. well u need a game developer i guess. quickly knock one up about someone like they have with the bush theme. a good game will go viral on its own. but with extra exposure then it will go off the wall.

im interested in a game site. well have been for a while now. but dont know anyone who can make one haha. so thats a good start there

he created it to help spread the word about his main project. popjam hes got a list so gathering nuff emails n stuff ready i guess. but yeh id of had some cpa on there to lol with that amount of traffic

This month / Early Jan Im going to have an experiment to see how many double optin emails I can pickup in one month, I dont think Ill beat him if he has 1 million views per day but Im aiming at 10%

I doubt he'll come near to the first success.
He only lives from the media attention that's left on him since the million dollar homepage.
