I'm using bluehost, and through cpanel I created a sub-domain. I cleared out all the files in the sub-domain folder, and then used simple scripts to install wordpress 2.5.1. The installation goes smoothly.

Heres the problem, when I view the site, it looks like it has no css properties and looks all "ghetto". Furthermore, when I try to access the wp-admin page it just redirects me to the homepage of the wordpress site.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

try going to domain.com/subdomainname/wp-admin - see if that lets you login. If so see if you can get into the settings and if it gives you any path options to update to subdomain.

now days no need to edit wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php
just upload in subdomain and when finish.. just type your domain..

www.subdomain.domain.com and the file wp-config-sample.php will appear and you can add the info like database name, username and password. click next.. all done!!
