I am helping some clients with their Google Places listings and want to verify the listings by SMS but having trouble doing so.
I live outside the US so SMS verification is an option but the only number I can choose when I pick the SMS option is the business' regular phone number (i.e. not a mobile phone number) that can't receive an SMS.
I have tried to add a mobile number besides the regular number but it's not shown when Google wants you to pick a phone number for the SMS. And when I change the regular number to a mobile number I get only the post card option.
Does anyone know a way to use the SMS option and avoid the post card? It would really help me.
