I've got this music videos site that is getting traffic and I can't seem to extract some money out of the visitors. I tested a content locker and it killed it so I got rid of that. Presently I am trying a mix of Amazon, Clickbank, and CPA.

I'm generating CTR and people are going through to both Amazon and Clickbank but I'm not getting many conversions. I've got a CTR of almost 20% average over a week, but a conversion rate of .0000000001. :) I think this is happening because the site is ranking for all kinds of crazy long tail keywords, and so most of the traffic is people coming in for one specific thing (video they want to see) and then leaving. I've tried rotating the offers and different combinations, some work better than others in terms of CTR but still nobody is pulling the trigger and buying anything.

I'm getting a fair amount of iphone visitors. So I threw up some iPhone/iDevice related things. They seem to like the ads but where's the sales/conversions? At this point I'm not sure what else to try.

To be honest I really just want to sell this site and focus on some others. But I gotta get it making revenue to get decent money out of it. I'm not sure if I should just focus on doing some more offsite SEO and building the traffic up a little more, or how to get the most value out of the site. This site should be making $20-50 a day easy if not more. I can't figure out what the problem is.

Hey mate if your traffic is coming for watching music videos then put up some music dvd offers and see if the conversions increase.

again instead of content locker you can setup like/tweet to see the content.
