Having a laptop just for Tube Increaser?

I was wondering if you guys would think it's worth it to get a cheap (like $400 - $500) laptop dedicated just to Tube Increasing. I have a lot of videos that need to be Tube Increased, and I can't leave my desktop computer on all day. Most of my friends using GPT websites make up to $20 a day from their SEO work and referral techniques. So I'd make the money back (I believe), but I am just curious as to know if you guys think it's worth it.

You dont even need a laptop, just buy a cheap Pentium with only 2 gb of ram, 200 or so, that should be enough.

With only 2 gig of ram? how much is consider minimum now a day?

It seems like there are more and more of these desktop "always on" type programs. I've actually thought about getting a cheap VPS and using it for the same purpose you're looking for. Put those programs on that machine and not have to worry about it. It's kind of like renting a computer but getting a new ip and internet connection with it as well. Knowing nothing about VPS, I'd like to hear someone chime in and poke holes in the idea.

I actually did this. I bought a cheap desktop computer and keyboard from a used computer store. Then went on CL and found a old free monitor. Removed all the junk from the harddrive then upgraded the ram(had some laying around), then installed tube increaser and let it run. The whole deal cost me about 200 bucks. So i would say yea its worth it.

You don't need 2gb of ram though for a tube increaser desktop. 1gb or even less would do the trick. Just make sure you uninstall anything on the computer thats using the memory and you'll be good.

Yeah, thanks for the responses guys. I got this idea from (for those of you who are CG Art savvy) render slaves. Should be useful.

I'm going to offer one next month for $25, or you could check out TubeSpinner.

Also, when I run bots, I use a dedicated server at GoDaddy, it cost me $50/month, but it's worth it in my opinion.

Thanks. I should use a dedicated server too because i notice my videos never gets to front page now even with good amount of ratings, favorites and comments...

yeh definately good idea. i do it myself with my bots. i have 3 computers. 2 pcs and a laptop. laptop gets used for botting. and pcs to sometimes. but its good to have spare comp. that way u can let it run and run while u get on with your other shit on other computer..

I only have 2laptops for my work,
One Plugged to normal 24inch lcd which is beast by itself (actually bought the best what I can find back then) and the another one some cheap asus what I bought only for stuff like this- YES if you have the funds GO FOR IT! Laptops are fare better then normal PC - Just because it's ultra portable, doesn't gives out any sound, less in space and yeah you can always plug normal monitor to your laptop (just check if you have good videocard) !

Meh there are loads of vds out there for pennies.
Put my hacked tubeincreaser on there (automatically uses latest proxies and works through list of videos rather then just one) and you could start and forget it.Just leave it running for months on end.

You can also use Wine and a linux shell you buy for 2$ per month
Or use your hosting server if you have an own one

The question is can you spare the internet connection? If you run the tube increaser (multiple instances of it) for all your videos it can slow down your connection's speed and eat up your bandwith. Although if you have more then 10mbps this will not be an issue.

This all sounds interesting. I have 5 computers sitting around for 12 hours a day. I what I could do with them. Problem is I am not too savvy about things you guys are talking about here.
