I'm brand new to creating my own business ( and being open minded, smarter, and aware of psychological points of success) hell, it's only been 7 months since i crawled out of the place no one wants to be in, but almost everyone had once in their life ( no ambition, no look on the future, procrastinating, not doing anything, being nothing really)

It's all changed. Im working on my mindset every day, staying out of the clutches of the "self sabotaging" thoughts, and keeping it positive by creating habits, fighting bad habits and emotions etc Overall learning where i can, and maybe most important of all: im never gonna quit.

I feel like that part of me is well on it's way to be on point.

But even if that is going well,. im still struggling to find out what im supposed to fill in my time.

I know what i want, my goal, my business plan, everything. But that's not the only thing you got, you also got business structure, tasks etc.

What im basically getting at is: I hear from every corner, people saying they are working at least 60 to 80 hours a week on their business. And while i cannot join them there yet ( as im working next to my fulltime job) I wouldn't even know what they are doing to fill that time up.

Maybe it's just because my business needs to start running before the real work comes in, but basically, i got these tasks at hand right now:

SEO: being outsourced by a good company ( i jump in for a few every now and then to speed it a bit)
Blog content: Most of it is outsourced, as i am knowledgeable with my industry, but not with writing.
Social media networking: doing that all myself, and it's going good, but im still able to have a lot of time available after doing the networking each day.
Suppliers: all fixed and nothing needs to be done until orders arrive.

Am i missing something? I feel like there is so little time i need to do to maintain this. Maybe it's just because there needs to be traffic/ flows of orders before the real job begins?

of course, the rest of the time i got left, i spend reading books or learning, which is also part of the job ( just indirectly.)

To give a bit more context: This company is selling through suppliers, not dropshipping, but more of the middleman type. Until i gain enough revenue to start making it private.

Maybe im just overthinking it, and should just spend the rest of my time learning through books and good succesful people.

PS: Im not doing paid adverts yet neither, im trying to keep it organic until i gained enough to fund ads.

Fill your free time with more reading and learning
- Watch Tony Robbins and Jim Rohn videos in the background while you work
- Learn New Methods
- Start another business/site
- Experiment with disposable ideas to learn new ways to safely promote your main money sight
- Learn to play in instrument
- Learn to speak a new language that may benefit your business or your leisure
- Join offsite groups - Scuba Diving, Dance, Motorcycle club etc.

I have ADHD really bad and the only thing that keeps me going is to have lots and lots of irons in the fire at once.

Cheers!

You're not missing anything. The people who say they're putting in over 80 hours a week are either trying to scare away potential competition or progress at a slow paste. The entire "put in X hours of work" mindset is incompetent, what counts is how you use the hours you put into it. It's no secret that you'll have more success if you put in 3 hours a day of useful and focused work than just doing too much and see the things you've done lose quality as time goes on. Don't try to overload yourself with information like all those self-help gurus tell you to, none of the worldleaders do all of that – some not even anything of that at all. Be yourself, because you cannot recreate the success of someone else.

Thanks for replying! I am definitely learning every day in terms of books, videos, and methods. And got a side project (site) too ^^ The thing is, the business im talking about. Is gonna be my main one. I know a lot on the forums are doing tons of different small ones, but im aiming to make this one physical, international.

Your points are really appreciated tho, a new language might be a nice addition to my skill set.

I definitely was one of the people who fell into gurus traps in the first 2 months of my new life. Luckily, i got out of it pretty fast after learning more and discovering all the BS. A proper business from the ground up takes years to do(so is success) and im fine with it=) Better to do the work and be successful later than to do nothing and still be nothing later.

I do think you're right, although i might just think to hard about the claims of X hours. And i should probably just get rid of that thought, focus on my learning and tasks i already got.
World leaders and succesful people do mastermind groups, and that's probably why they don't really spend so much time (as people say) into it.

But you're right, i believe some do spend so much time, but they are either: very far into their industry, or have a ton of projects, or try to do everything themselves. That's what i think is going on.

Im definitely gonna create my own success. And great assets like the people of this forum, will help me for sure! Thank you

If your business is going well with the method you’re currently using, I don’t see why you would change it. Who cares what other people are doing? In any case, many of those “80 hours per week” have more than 1 site they’re working on.
