Hello,

I'm sure that is hilarious to post something like this here but... BHW has trustable and experienced people in fitness and sports. The thing why I don't go to a "professional" fitness trainer is because I'm sick of all these experts. You know, they do the same thing as SEO gurus. They struggle to make you buy every piece of shit just for they own profit.

What I'm looking for is a diet and fitness program from an experienced member. I'm not interested in supplements or any crap like that. My young man is 17 years and I want to put some weight on him, he doesn't seem solid (it's actually a bit skinny in arms). A simple fitness program for home and a healthy & powerful diet which can help him bulk up will be great.

I'm not interested in all the things are on internet, I'm wiling to pay 100$ for a man who is going to give the best advices based on his own experience.

Please contact me, I can offer my advice which I consider to be good. Been bodybuilding 2years and I've been studying bodybuilding now since I was 14.

Get any book on the "prison workout". It requires the minimum of equipment (often, you need nothing)...discipline. Push-ups, squats, and exercises like the "burpee" (aka the squat thrust among other names) are good examples of "prison workout" moves. The modern term of "prison workout" is just a popular/fancy name for what used to be called calisthenics. Nowadays, no one even knows what real calisthenics are. But once someone learns what they are (and how absolutely ripped someone can get, doing them!) they won't look at working out the same way ever again.

Besides a good book on the actual exercises, he will need a notebook to keep a log of what he does each day.

More than spending money, focus on what you need to not spend money: on sugar water (i.e. sodas) and processed foods. Your money is put to better use by giving him fruits and vegetables and good snacks like maybe Larabars, raisins, nuts, etc. Also check out an easy daily supplement for overall health: I recommend Enerfood. I stay away from GNC.

As far as being skinny: he might naturally have a skinny body type. But I have seen many wiry, skinny dudes who were stronger than "big guys". (Just check out Bruce Lee for the prime example of a tough skinny dude.)

You're right to avoid all the programs and complicated methods out there. It's all about marketing. The human body is capable of becoming fit, strong, and healthy with very simple consistent activity and simple, wholesome food. It's how we're built.

ima nutritonist and bodybuilder. been doing it for roughly 6 years. i dont want any money,as even now i help people for free. We all had to learn from someone didnt we?knowledge shud be shared, not for a pricetag though. PM me mate, ill do my best

Hey port, I work in a health food shop and I am always surprised about the amount of people that want to put weight on their boys, I tell them the same thing every time. If your boy is skinny and he eats enough then do not worry. Some people are just that way and it is perfectly natural. It may be your diet whilst in utero, as a high calorie/carb diet can lead to a fast metabolic rate on the infant.

When it comes down to it, weight it not important at all. As long as the person has a healthy diet (Lots of fruit, vegetables and unprocessed foods) and a everyday exercise program (running around with mates or football) then his weight does not matter. If you want to try some protein before bed, that has been shown to increase weight, however, be careful of how much you give him as too much protein can cause kidney damage.

P.s. be careful about swinging money around here at BHW, we all love money and you will now get 400 messages.

Cheers and good luck to you an the little fella.

I can provide you with this! Weighed 145lbs at christmas and I'm up to 165lbs currently, aiming for another 10 lbs by the end of august! I have pictures to prove it as well.

OP, check out Starting Strength. If your son follows the program he'll gain a lot of weight and muscle.

To the OP. I am not doing things because I got lured by your offer. I had a very bad father.. and to see a father who is so caring about his son brings a smile to my face.

The thing that I am going to say is purely based on Ayurveda and Siddha methods. They are very ancient, but very effective and 100% natural and safe. I am not sure if he has a flexible body, however ask him to do 13 suryanamaskars every day. (you can get some very good tutorials in youtube for suryanamaskar).

This will give him strength, flexibility and is injury free.

Diet is the most important part of weight gain. It is important to eat a diet that is not too rich in saturated fats, but a rich source of healthy fats. Siddha and Ayurveda medicine recommends sesame seeds (sesame which is unhulled), a daily dosage of 50g of sesame will give him the protein, fiber, good fats and vitamins and anti-oxidants, the important function of sesame is to normalize the metabolism. Supplement this with a daily dosage of mangoes, bananas and Jackfruit. Avoid egg whites (as it has numerous anti-nutrients).

The main meal should contain multi-grains (whole grains) preferably a mix of whole wheat, finger millet, black gram and millet. You can make breads, they are delicious too.

In the evening regular ground exercises a combo of pushups, pull ups and sit ups (50 each). Pull ups can be very hard to start with, but he can easily do 50 with in a couple of weeks.

You will see remarkable difference within 8 weeks.

I'm sorry but you have no clue what your on about. You didn't even suggest protein, which is among the basics.
