First, I'm not a person of magic powers like my buddy pewep. Labor day is coming and lots of dudes are having a 3 day weekend in the US.

I was planning to visit my family out of town but I have a very strange feeling like I shouldn't go because I have important stuff to do which is not the case.

Is like something inside me is holding me back and making excuses "I should stay cuz I need to clean" "I should stay cuz I have no money" and shit like that.

I really wanna go cuz I like driving but idk I feel like something is stopping me

Am I being protected by pewep powers?

    Thanks

Several years ago, I was laying on my bed. I had a vision of an old time Indian wearing buckskin standing in front of me with his ancient long rifle butt down on the ground. He said to me "come out and visit."

I had been thinking for several months whether I wanted to go to the Uintah-Orray Indian reservation in Fort Duchene, Utah. Earlier that month, or the month before, I had attended a vision quest for the wife of a friend and medicine man at the petroglyphs outside of Panguitch, Utah. While not a large quest, we had medicine men fly in from the east coast and several different states for a total of ten medicine men from different tribes. What occurred is not for desecration on a forum.

At any rate, following the vision I had on my bed, I went to the Uintah-Orray reservation to attend a ceremony. I arrived at the old dance grounds that were considered haunted by the whites in the town of Randlet, which is basically across the bridge from the dance grounds and has a population of about five, and is viewed with awe by the tribal Indians. I obtained the permission of Chief Skylar to sleep in the ceremony grounds and was warned by him that strange things happen in that dance ground.

I went back into the brush and formed a circle of salt and blessed the circle. Afterwards, I pitched an tent. The days dancing went fine. After the dance ended for the day, I pitched a cooking fire. While cooking my dinner, I noticed several people trying to circumspectly watch me without my awareness from outside the ceremony grounds. I finished my dinner, and then went to bed.

About 10 - 11 in the evening I woke up and had to go to me car about 50 feet away. I made it to the car, retrieved an item I needed and attempted to make my way back to my tent, which was visible. Between my car and my tent, I lost about six hours. I have no idea what occurred in those six hours! When I came back to consciousness, I was about 200 feet further south than where my tent was. My car was about 50 feet north of the tent.

I knew I had received whatever gift was intended for me. When the Chief returned, I gave him the gifts I had brought, told him that what had called me had given me some kind of vision, but that I did not know what it was. At this time, Chief Skylar told me that the grounds I slept in was the home to several skin walkers. Because of the skin walkers, there were scouts watching me. He also told me that I disappeared for some time and the scouts could not find me. The Chief then bade me good by and told me to comeback when I was ready and that there would be people that could tell me more about the vision that I had, but until I was ready, it would remain hidden.

Several months later I returned to the reservation for another dance. I spilled some soda on the front of my pants and went to wash off the soda. Because I had made no plans to attend that dance, I had brought no cloths. After cleaning my front as best I could, I returned to the dance circle, but did not enter. One of the tribal police walked up to me and told me that the people I needed to see would arrive the next day and walked off.

    Think about it.

    "Feeling".

No, I avoid situations based on the probability of them being unfavourable. As a grossly simplified example, let's say I'm going to a small family get-together in which Uncle Brian and Uncle Rick are attending. I begin by preparing a mental list of what I know about them. In this case, we'll just say Uncle Rick is a proverbial racist and Uncle Brian isn't fond of me for being reticent.

I then try to assess their current mood based on what they post on Facebook. In this scenario, we'll just say that Uncle Brian and Uncle Rick are creating and sharing posts that suggest they're in a very bad mood.

Finally, I make an endeavour to determine how I can leverage a bad situation should they try to physically attack me, because my family is dysfunctional. Fortunately, I have a link to a video of both of them robbing a bank in Las Vegas, so should things turn sour, I can simply make an ambiguous threat to them and, should they ignore me, provide the police with their names, photos, social media accounts, home addresses, list of relatives and their associated information, et cetera (with the added benefit of making an example out of them).

Based on the information above, I would just avoid the situation unless I hear that they recently insulted me behind my back (I will find out). I don't like it when people spread baseless rumours.

Back to your "feeling", assess the situation and then make a decision. The one time I almost decided not to go to a family event based on a "feeling", I would've missed my tantrum-throwing teenage cousin wrap a seat belt around his neck for attention, which ended up locking on him and causing a huge commotion that Thanksgiving.

Yes, don't go if you don't want to. But, if you want to know what will happen if you go when you don't want to go.....

Several Southwest US native Indian tribes have versions of skinwalkers. While the details vary among the tribes, it basically comes down to a malevolent witch (medicine woman or medicine man) possessing the bodies of other beings.

While primarily driven by science, there are areas that our science clearly identifies as being beyond science and neither provable nor disprovable. Religion is the most fundamental area in which science asserts that it can neither prove nor disprove. Within that area that science cannot enter lie many different supernatural deities and powers.

You must remember that it does not matter if you believe it, it only matters that others believe it. Many cultures in Africa and South America have stories, many of them are documented, in which a person wasted away because they believed that a witch doctor cursed them. Likewise, there are many things I have experienced that defy explanation.

Get the same feeling all the time. Feels like I got better things to do all the time. Guess its also because its a waste of time to sit and talk about the newest complains/rumors in town. But an advise is to try and go to stuff like that anyways.

I think it's because I have a great sense of responsibility.

Well, from my experience, I think this is laziness. I don't want to go there, why? Your mind is telling you - chill at home. Maybe I'm wrong.

Bro, you're a dog. What sense of responsibility could you possibly have?

Go to the family reunion. If it turns sour just pee on everyone's shoes. That'll learn 'em.
