Have you ever being paid for monetizing video you don't own rights for?

you will be banned if the video is not owned by you or you dont have a commercial license to montize it

It is possible, however if the original owner finds their content on your channel then they can report it/speak to people to get it taken down. A good example is gaming community channels - a lot of them upload "quality" edits and short clips and make money from it. Some ask for permission, others don't, and they have the chance to be punished for it.

I uploaded a video on YouTube and obviously i was not the original owner. After a month a representative asked me to use my video in a show on their channel. Then I asked him to give me money and luckily I got $60 from the video.

Yes, but it was a viral video created on a channel with 1 video and I got to it before it got really popular so I claimed it was mine and got the original copyrighted and took all the monetization.

Word to the wise: Stalk Reddit's videos page.

I used to monetize Occupy Wall Street Videos they used to go viral ;)

Hey guys, I started my RTSP bot last night and it looked like it was NOT working..but I was sitting here this morning, checking my videos on YouTube and nothing changed, but at the blink of an eye...1800 views popped up from mobile..so yes, MagicViews-YouTube F**ker are indeed still working, just use them with extra precaution, it sucks that idiots like to put hundreds of thousands of views to make the front page :/
