Like the topic says, have you all being caught doing this?
Caught by whom??? My Mom? The internet police?
Actually, you can get sites banned by search engines, which means you move onto the next ones, and they all get banned eventually. You also can get accounts closed, like Adsense. I've also had hosting accounts closed. You just need to keep blackhat and white activities totally seperate and open multiple accounts if you are really going to go all out.
i have never had any website banned by search engines, but i am doing something different called "smart blackhat seo".
The only programs where i have been banned was domain parking services due to hardcore blackhatting, but this was several months ago, when i was a noob. At the moment, i am doing well.
Never Been Caught, Even If Someone did possibly questions something i was doing. I'm not doing anything illegal. So I'm O.k.
Who cares...you move on to the next project, often times just replicating what got you banned, but with a twist to try and make it last longer, especially with the SERP's.
What about getting your adsense account banned? I got banned. How do youget around that?
1) You use a mixture of income sources other than AdSense to start with
2) If shut down, establish a new AdSense account creatively. What does this mean? It means use your brain and think of all the other "ins" you might have. Sign up as someone else - like yo momma. Establish an LLC and use it.
getting banned is a fact of life for black hatters. The further you are out on the cutting edge of BH techniques means that it takes them longer to ban/catch up with you.
Worry lessabout getting banned and more about putting up new sites etc
I've had my Adsense account for almost 2 years now with no issues. Besides, when most people here refer to a banning it refers to a ban of your site from the SE's. Adsense also to most is only chump change compared to affiliate earnings.
I'm doing ok so far, but I've mostly been whitehatting, with tasty blackhat sprinkles.
So........as long as I keep my blackhatting to a minimum my websites would not be pulled down or blacklisted from search engines or something, right?
Depends on how you do it Slim Ghost.
Number 1, be paranoid. Do whatever you can to prevent anybody from knowing who or where you are. If you're gonna cloak, make sure you learn how to do it the best way before you throw up your IP-delivery software.
Number 2, when you pull off something great, be careful who you go bragging to.
grep your domain logs for the b0ts with fake U-A. Trace back the IPs. Surprise! Are they the "Internet Police" said above? It's cat and mouse but consider the human element in it all.
I do make sure I have other flows of income, and also to not leave a huge 'mess' wherever I have been.
Help just a bit.
Thanks for the advice. I'm a noob BH trying to get my feet wet. I appreciate all your input.
Good Luck. As suggested be creative and always be looking ahead.......
Never been caught by either search engines or affiliate programs. I have however had friends got their sites de-indexed from big G but they where doing some hardcore blackhatting for some MAJOR keywords.
Never been caught by affiliate networks, asked a couple times but I assure them my traffic is from a quality source. I've had my website sandboxed by google. Still not sure why, I think it was because I promoted it so much in such short time. The content was unique. Hmm :wtf1:
