    Hi people,

According to a stats plugin I use on WP (Track That Stat), the top keyword I am ranking for is "surf". My site is totally unrelated to the term, in fact the word does not appear once in the whole site. I am also using an elegant theme I took from the download section here.

Have I been hacked and if so, what is the best solution to find and remove the offending code?

Thanks very much in advance for your time and help.

    James :)

The most likely scenario is that someone is trying to build links in your referrer script/stats program.

Thanks :) Will deleting the theme and adding a new one remove the problem?

    James :)

There is no problem, so no reason to fix anything.

GoDaddy hosting? There was a problem with all of my WP sites on my GD account and when I googled it I found out that it was a common problems for GD users... in the head.php file of my wp there was code injected on my sites. Links to cash advance and stuff like that.. and for the longest time this stuff was showing up in webmaster tools.. on my pet related websites! I had to go fix like 40 wp installations :(

Hello mate. That sucks. Surely GoDaddy should of fixed that for you if the infection came from their server. I'm with Bluehost on this particular site, but thanks for the heads up (hate GoDaddy anyway lol).
