Have A Channel That Generates Thousands of Views, No CPA Earnings

Hey everyone,

I have a YouTube channel that has generated thousands of views pretty quickly so I've decided to slap on some extremly related CPA offers to the videos.

For example, if the video is about movie X then I have an offer that is to get movie X tickets or to get movie X on DVD.

I only just started doing this about a week ago since I neglected the channel and hadn't realised how many views it was generating. So I slapped up some more videos, all of which have generated a good 2000 or so views in a couple days and put some related CPA offers in the description with an annotation also telling about the offer but I haven't had a single click!

I find that sort of hard to believe that all these videos are generating all these views and not a single person is clicking on the links in the description?

If anyone is feeling really generous, I'd be happy to PM my YouTube channel if you'd like to have a look and maybe suggest a few things.

But for now, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?

Where are the links at? Try adding the link to the CPA offer in the video itself in an annotation and in the very first line of your description.

Also, try mentioning the CPA offer in the video and show them the link to it.

The links are in the first line of the description so that they're in sight straight away without the user having to click that show more button

Are links in annotations actually clickable?

I started doing that in this last batch of videos. I have an annotation in the video that lasts the entire length that will say something like

"Click the link in the description for free tickets to movie X"
