    Hey everyone,

I currently have a blog with e-book content locker that makes $1-3/day.. I want to make a forum about the info from my content locker blog where users can interact with each other.. Basically users can read my blog but in order to get the free e-book they are directed to the downloads page with content locker and must fill out offer before they can download.

The thing is, I want to host the e-book on my forum as well, but that would eliminate me being able to use the content locker. I know with the forum I can get high conversion rate of people that go onto my site to sign up for the forum as well, once they see all the active members.. So I will be able to be in control of many many more members instead of anonymous ones that download my ebook from content locker and then I never see again.

The reason I am doing this method is because I recently joined with a partner who can supply more free e-books and I can scale up this method and receive MANY more visitors.. However they are interested in monetizing everything from a forum instead of having a different blog with content locker for every ebook. It also looks better on the forum when there is a downloads page for convenience to all the members, I just don't want them to be able to download for free. It is low quality ebook that nobody would likely pay money for, but is worth just enough for someone to spend time on completing an offer.

How can I monetize the "downloads" page where the ebooks will most likely be from this forum?? Can I put a content locker on vbulletin software downloads page? or is there a better idea for this.. Any help is appreciated.

You can host a forum on a wordpress site. Just search for a forum in the plugins directory. Sure its not vbulletin but your users would never tell the difference. This way you could make a normal page on your wordpress site as well as have a forum. Now you have the freedom to use any content lockers or anything you want, while still hosting a forum on the same domain.

Can I link from multiple blogs to the same forum? The thing with my JV partner is that he will have ebooks of different micro niches that can all relate to the main niche. The micro niches will all need to be on separate blogs (probably 4-5 blogs) and then we want to connect all the members on 1 forum.

It would be a lot easier to have everything all on the same forum like vbulletin in a downloads page or something.
