I can't make a nickel online. Everyone has been watching that show all day as it's been repeating.

And in case you didn't notice, the entire feud was between a bunch of Bible beaters operating on a false sense of "honor", superstition and those things were the stuff the feud was based on!

Assholes deserved what they got and stupid Americans sit around and watch that sort of shit just grubbing it up!

Has to do with the dumbing down of the society.

Buncha damned Bronze Age primitives, promoting their superstition and now the networks are in on it.

I pity the Fool from some "church" comes to my front door!

Recently told those pretty boys in their black suits, white shirts, black ties, carryin' The Word of THEIR Lo-ord riding around bicycles that if they ever knocked on my door again I would prosecute. Marked my property with "No Entry" signs and the purple squares they want now as recognition symbols for "Stay Away!"

    Relilgion is a mental illness!

If only religions told true believers to off themselves. The world would be a better place.

When I lived in Salt Lake City they'd knock on my door once a month. I asked them why? Isn't everyone here Mormon already? They asked if I was. I told them no and they said, "There you go!" LOL

That was a damn good movie and the story is a part of american history.... I dont know where the fuck you are from or how you was raised but you evidently did not watch the movie. Or perhaps you did but did not understand it. Perhaps you only judge things by your close-minded attitude that lacks respect for others cultures and beliefs.

There are many cultures, countries and religions that I could spout out a rant on if I chose to do so. But I respect peoples beliefs and so should you.

There are things going on in this world today that are way more despicable than a simple feud between 2 families that happened over a hundred years ago. Hundreds if not thousands of people die every day over religion, politics, or just simple greed. Yet you choose to rant over a freakin movie.

All I can say is you are a douche and should find a forum where your prejudicial posts might be accepted.

I'm sorry perhaps I am missing something as well, but I never knew respect of a belief was something one is supposed to do. If someone said I should respect their belief that every time a pig shits someone's prayer is granted by a giant talking tree I would not respect their belief nor should anyone in their right mind. I would not respect beliefs in genocide either. I would allow religious belief but overall it is detrimental to society for it is batshit insane. All religions are tools used to manipulate the less powerful and I am all for manipulating idiots; but when it affects me, when I personally am inconvenienced by it and am unable to profit from it, I speak out against it.

As you said history IS important, I agree with you on that. I did not see this movie, but I can tell you that as an American I am embarrassed at how little has changed since that time with regards to the archaic belief in Jebus and the ethical absolutism that follows. Religion is still rotting the US from the inside out, and I will not respect a belief which could potentially lead to my own demise.

If I was rich however I would support religion as a means to controlling the population. The more lower class workers the better. Then I'd ship them off to die for economic interests in war and have a mother and her two teenage sons work long hours at minimum wage further solidifying them as members of the lower class.

You told the guy he should go to a forum where "prejudicial posts might be accepted" welcome to the internet friend. The incarnation of free speech where "prejudices" can be attacked as can opinions and faiths. Most internet users especially in forums such as this hold similar views to the two of us.

Now I will go to contemplate how I can make money off of religious idiots.

You are right, there is no reason whatsoever to respect any belief in particular. But by disrespecting a belief in a public forum, you are disrespecting everyone that may believe that way.

Perhaps I was a bit hasty in my response to the post I quoted. Maybe because I was raised in the hills of Virginia by a bunch of bible thumpers. Maybe its the 8 beers and the bottle of wine that I drank. Or maybe I just did not like the disrespect that the douchebag was spewing about religion, superstition, and America in general.

Had either of you actually watched the movie instead of forming an opinion through the trailors, perhaps you would have seen that religion had nothing to do with the feud and was only a small part of the plot. One character in the movie (Randall MCcoy) was religious while most others where not. It made an awesome twist as the movie played out.

Maybe you should put down your video game and watch it sometime.

I also have to respond to your quote that I highlighted in red.

Son, it's the lack of religion that is tearing this country apart at the seams.
