Does anyone know if LinxBoss is still in business?

1. Their only online contact form is broken
2. They don't respond to emails sent to the (only) support email address listed in the portal
3. Their phone is permanently diverted to an answerphone
4. New sites aren't being ranked

With the above in mind, I'm amazed to see that they're still taking PayPal subscription payments!

What's going on?

Yes, I wondered about the same thing. I canceled over a month ago - and still I am getting pingbacks from their blogs. I cant log in, but it seems they did not deactivate the linkbuilding for me. Perhaps, because they just left the office and escaped to Mexico.

Yep, same for me. The sites I setup 6-9 months ago seem to be still ranking. Ones I added 2-3 weeks ago haven't done a god damn thing!

I'm just staggered PayPal are still processing new subscriptions for them. People have done 10 years in sing-sing for a lot less than this! Lord only knows how much money they're still taking.

Hope people see this before signing up!

This explains why I haven't seen any movement in my rankings during past weeks. They answered my mails two weeks ago and I bought the story about problems with their servers.

I guess it's time to cancel and move on...

Tried to log on today but it looks like all their websites are down.
I have been using this service for 2 months and only seen a handful of links reported by MajesticSEO. These links have all disappeared again. Just cancelled my subscription. So back to using Magic Submitter

Can anyone confirm if LinxBoss are closing?

Does anyone using the service know what's going on?

Here are some things to consider about LB. If you were to reverse engineer their network, you would find that:

* Your index rate is going to be around 25% to 30%. In my opinion that is pretty low for $147.00 p/m. Especially considering the fact that you are trusting LB to get these links indexed. At that rate, indexing should be up in the 85% to 90% percentile.

* Their network consists primarily of PR0s, PR1s and PR2s. There may be a few PR3s in there but they seem to max out on the low end of the PR meter.

* Some [emphasis on some] of their sites are very slow loading and some are down hard from time to time.

* If you notice their advertisements, they stress they are a automated link building. Meaning, the articles they post with your links are generated VIA automated spinning systems and/or content mashers.

If you polled some of your articles on their network, you would find total unreadable gibberish with your links stuck somewhere in the middle. There is no thought to link placement because it is all automated.

For those into massive spamming, this is not a problem. But most people are pointing LB to their money sites and that could be an issue if you are in highly competitive niches in which your competitors are nipping at your buds.

* The first good thing to say about them is that they do have great IP diversity.

* And the second good thing is that they covered themselves as far as the SOA.

But other than that, I don?t see LB being worth $147.00 p/m

I'm just saying...

Thanks for the review!

I'm still on the fence before reading your post.

Looks like my money will be better spent elsewhere.

LinkxBoss has a very poor service! I went in through one of my friends, and found it the most effectiveless network out there! Don't know how they got so much exposure!

But you're saying they're still in business?

I've heard rumours which were added to by the comments above over the last 6 weeks that they were closing down. I have clients who use it and I would like to warn them if they're going to lose money.

Thanks.

Yeah I've had absolutely zero results with LinxBoss so I'm definitely cancelling... after seeing this.

Maybe the OP went to the LB site on a bad day but the contact page is up and functioning properly. As far as the telephone goes, who really expects a SEO company that is doing online sales to answer their offline phone?

If there were some issues relating to the company being scuttled, you can best be assured that their affiliates would most likely not be getting paid and neither would the advertisers. LB is huge on PPC and direct advertising and not a whiff of info has popped up relating to any non-payment issues.

They did respond to my emails(quite promptly i might add) but honestly they sucked big time.. i cancelled last month and felt like such an idiot after i wasted my money on them..

Good that web_master started this thread.. cleared out I was not the only one having issues with them

Turns out they were out of their Good spell and it was time for them to beat the dust..

I see the overall appeal of LB in terms of the automation and whatnot. However, at that price point, they have to bring more to the table than low PR BLs. Most purchasers are only looking at the $147 p/m and through some negative miracle, they don't see the annual $1,764.00.

Imagine what you could with essentially $1,800.00 annually? If you are on your "A" game, you could build your own private HPBLN using a modified LFE or using the same program layout as Niche Press Platinum.
