    Guys,

What the fuck is up with Google at the moment? I've launched a few sites recently done all the usual on page and off page stuff. Links are building nicely. Most them are sitting #1 in Yahoo and Bing but not even in the top 100 in Google - I just cant work it out...

Is it possible for Google to use Webmaster to sack off all your sites cos that what I'm seriously starting to think.

Yep. That is a footprint and probably the reason.

If thats the case why do people recommend you use Webmasters and Analytics?

I don't think webmasters and analytics are the problem. I use ghostery and I can see my competitors (who rank well) are all using analytics as well. They are affiliate sites yet seems analytics doesnt damage them at all...

I dont know whats wrong with Google either, i was down from #1 to #11 and now at #4 in the past 1 month. I still believe my backlinks are more powerful and well-diversified than those websites above me!

    Hey Ultraburner,

Google takes time to index and decide where to put your site in top 100 OR not, all depends on ur link building strategy as well as your niche and competition. If u are competing with authority sites, it will take u months or even year to get some good ranking.

PM me more details about ur niche, url so that can give u some advise.

I dont believe it is Webmasters or Analytics either but I guess there is an easy test.

Its just that previously when I have launched new sites as soon as the first handful of links are indexed the site shoots up the rankings. Yeah sure it drops and does the dance but my last few havent moved....at all...and its driving me mad.

Yahoo and Bing use the same algo and it is easier to rank in a short time. This used to happen to me before I started doing more whitehat type SEO tactics. Stuff like doing a Xrumer blast or linkwheels to a new site. Now Google shows up first and Yahoo and Bing come after.

In my opinion, the main thing is to not get discouraged. I have many sites and there are times when half of them will drop off the rankings for a few weeks, but eventually they'll make it back. Keep working, building links, and adding content and it'll pay off.
