Has google banned my page?

Hi i am a little :confused:

I have been using a lot of SEO to promote various websites over the past year or so, but i have never come accross this problem before.

I posted an article last Thursday an within 12hrs it was indexed and ranking pretty high with some good KW. I must add that the domain has over 70,000 pages with an average of PR6. But checking the same keywords today i see nothing.

I have had the "google sandbox" issues but never this? Has the page been banned?

Hi, I think Google is cleaning up their index of sites, as several of my sites have been in and out of page 1 in the last couple of weeks.
 
I too have noticed some pages gone so something is happening this week isn't a good time to ask, If its black hat then could be gone if there is a clean up.

Just because you do a site:yoururl.com and it returns nothing, if your site is new, it can take time to get indexed.

Now, if your site was indexed and you did that, and nothing, then chances are it was wiped out of the index.

You can do a couple of things there. Wait a week or so and check again, if nothing, then chances are it is banned.

Or if you check again and it is there, no sweat.

Depending on what you were doing on this site, you could ask for a reinclusion from google, but it depends on your content and what you were doing with the site. SOmething like 10,000 links in a week, chances are you won't get back in.
 
I rank well for a very competitive keyword (Or should i say rank every now and then) because something started to happen a week or so ago. My rank is fluctuating like a mother*****. I keep on disappearing and appearing on different DCs. No idea what is happening. Others have noticed similar patterns.
 
well i got a site banned as well and it aint no blackhat nothing just a simple template , it has been gone for three weeks now and still not come back , i applied for reconsideration and still nothing , so i am trying a test look at the whitehat section
 
Just a little update, i have found that google has UN-indexed other pages in our domain and is now indexing pages in our backend server?? But one more question if i may. does google just ban a page or sub page etc.. so if the "banned page" is on http://www.***.***/aa/bb/banned post/index.xml am i right in thinking that anything i post after /bb/ will be banned and anything before that would be safe??

From my understanding, if google is going to ban something, they generally ban the whole site. They might remove certain pages from the index, but a ban is domain wide.
 
Just wanted to say that yesterday my webpages were re indexed and look to be ranking quite well. I will keep track off things and see how they go.
 
Glad to hear it geeze! Google has been doing some strange stuff the last few weeks as my sites have been all over!
