Has BHW Changed Your Life?

    BHW has certainly changed mine.

I'll tell you my life story

My story is a long story...

I'll start with how I discovered the whole concept of internet marketing.

It was last christmas when I discovered the glories of internet marketing.
I was on vacation at Oregon, and I was with my family (grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc.)

My uncle is a software engineer, and he knows how to make iPhone apps. We had a discussion at the dinner table, and my father talked about this article in the newspaper. It was about some guys who got rich off an iPhone app. Then my uncle said he knew how to create iPhone apps. My brother took the opportunity. My bro said he would write out a plan, give it to our uncle, and our uncle would create the iPhone app. My bro and uncle would split the profits 50/50. Unfortunately, my brother did plan out an iPhone app, and it was a pretty good idea (had to do something with cars and calculating stuff) but he never followed through.

Then I was like, hey I wanna make some money!
So I was pretty lame and searched on youtube "how to make money." It had to do something with spider searching or whatever. I was like, man this is lame. Then I remembered this howcast video on making money from blogs. I watched it, and I thought it was a pretty good idea.

For a few days during christmas break (i know what a waste of time) I had an idea for a blog. I thought I would be on top of the world and become filthy rich. So I worked on it for a few days. I thought it would be an instant success. I was dead wrong. My niche was horrible, I knew nothing of keywords or SEO, and man did I FAIL.

I came back home disappointed, and searched for making money with blogs. I then stumbled upon digitalpoint. I got some tips and advice, and I thought "hey, what the heck, I should continue blogging with these tips." I probably wasted a month trying to make my blog great. It did not go anywhere.

Then I quit the whole "making money" business for about 3 months. Then I decided to go back on DP, search for some tips, and try monetizing my blog. Same old fail. So I decided to delete my blog. Blogs are made of fail.

Then I somehow stumbled upon blackhatworld about a month ago. And Thank God for that. With digitalpoint, all they tell you is make a blog, do some social bookmarking, apply some adsense, and you'll be happy. Fuck no. It would take months to do that, and you'll finally make $10 a day.

To sum it all up, I'm only 15 and I'm going to be a sophomore in high school in a few weeks. I'm glad I'm young and I'm starting IM very early for my age. After knowing the truths of 9-5 jobs and money, I don't look at teachers as scary, sadistic monsters anymore; instead, I look at them as poor squats who have a low pay 9-5 job(well being a teacher would be kinda fun). However, I absolutely hate it when people on BHW brag how they are only 13, 14 years old, blah blah blah, because I bet they are making $0 a day; and they are probably living their dreams vicariously through those journals you see on BHW everyday.

Anyways, I look at life in a different way now. Grades are not the most important thing in the world. The ends justify the means. If I'm making $3-$4k a month as a 15 year old, well then who cares how I earned that money(unless it's illegal). Many of my friends worry too much about getting good grades, and growing up to become a doctor. That will take them 10+ years, PLUS the VERY EXPENSIVE fees for medical school. In the end, they will be making 100-200k a year, but it's stressful and in the end, you can't outsource, scale, or automate that shit, and it will always be a 9-5 job.

As for me, I'm getting education for FREE from you guys.

    Thanks BHW <3

Keep that same attitude, and you can retire at 21 :).

Save up and get yourself a ride from your bhw money.

Pretty awesome. BHW definitely changed my life. It started out as a little extra money to help make rent when work cut my salary. Then I realized how well it worked, and how powerful IM can be. I am at the point now where my IM earnings are almost double what I make at my 9-6, although I do both for now until I'm making major league money.

I wasn't expecting this. I just tried some methods that made sense to me, scaled them up, and automate the best I can. I still have a long, long ways to go. But I am free now. I could get fired or laid off tomorrow and I will be happy, because I don't have to worry about money, and knowing I will have even more time to work on IM!

Dude I am on the exact same page as you.

"Grades are not the most important thing in the world. The ends justify the means. If I'm making $3-$4k a month as a 15 year old, well then who cares how I earned that money(unless it's illegal). Many of my friends worry too much about getting good grades, and growing up to become a doctor."

Exactly! when I hear the preppy bitches at my school talk about grades and stuff like it is the most important thing ever I want to punch them in the face and tell them grades are nothing but letters and numbers and all you have to do to learn a year of HS curriculum is read the text books for a week.. They act like the only way they can live a life of any value is to get an A on the next AP test. A bunch of fucking drones and lemmings..

I also started making good IM cash when I was 15 and I am still with it (17 now) I hope you stay with it too! Screw trying to live a cookie cutter life centered around your jobs and school instead of living.

Hopefully you still worry about your grades. There will be dry spells, trust me. In a time of peace prepare for war.

Maybe some people want to become a doctor because they like to help people or because they just admire the job and do whatever it takes to get it. Money does not matter to them, the first time they step in to medical school they feel filled with excitement and fulfillment. It's called ambition, money doesn't necessarily make you happy (although it does help :p). I'm going to the university to study civil engineering. Not because I want to become rich, I already make a shitload of money, but because I enjoy it. Do you really want to spend the rest of you life in front of your computer?

Yeh! BHW has really changed my life. Before I found BHW I was social, outgoing,
spent time at the gym and went to bars watched tv. Now I'm a total recluse who
spends his whole life in front of his PC in case I miss a post.
But my bank manager loves me for it.:)

I'm 15 and I'm making $20-50/day on auto pilot, I'm not bragging, I'm just trying to say, that a lot of young internet marketers are making some amounts of money a day, I know $20-50/per day is nothing, but I'm quite happy with it seeing as it's automated income, I'm not accuatly spending more then 5 minuites to maintain the income :)

If all else fails, you will have your grades to fall back on to get a normal 9-5 job. If you have nothing to fall back on (say a bigger boom/bust than we have now, where the whole of IM chugs to a halt for a while), you are screwed. Study for a few months, get some decent grades. Don't do shit with them, but you have them. Don't act arrogant at as 15, you don't know everything (even thought it feels like you do). Nothing personal, just general teens. You'll only sit your qualifications once, you have an entire life to do IM.

This is my honest opinion, we all know there is potential to make a lot of money in IM'ing, but I will say this, I wouldn't give up on your grades, I would make sure I still gained them, imagine this situation and it is very unlikely, but you never know for some reason something happens to the internet and everybody loses it, or you get caught doing something wrong and you are banned from using it, or the more likely everything you are doing is not working and you are not making money with any of your sites etc etc, now you need to make some money to keep you and your family, so what do you do, well you have to go and get a job, but now you find no one will take you on as you have no qualifications or you end up working mcdonalds or something the worst jobs ever, minimum wage etc etc.

I could go on and on but at the end of the day it is up to you to choose, there are to many people wanting to quit education or retire from work, when they have only had a mild success with im'ing, wait until you know 100% that you have made enough money to keep you going for a while, then worry about quiting education or retiring.

Just my opinion and best of luck on what you decide.

and the answer toyour question yes Blackhat world has changed my life but not in the sense of money, but in the sense of everything I think about now is outside the box.

    Next to Chuck Norris

I spend FAR to much time on here...

However potentially from all the researching I have been doing I am on the verge of landing some top jobs and / or setting up my own company. I am also feeling confident that if all f&*ks up there is a ton of stuff I can do that I have learnt here and from personal experience.

Some advice I would give to you comes from a famous quote (I am not sure from where)

"knowledge is the one thing nobody can take away from you" (This is in the context of if everything goes wrong nobody can ever take your grades or knowledge away from you).

I have recently graduated with some of the top grades in my country prob top >1%. Some job interviewers have even told me they think I am too intelligent for jobs, I tell them I dont consider myself intelligent (as you will guess from my posts haha) but I work harder than 99% of people.

My grades have opened up a sh1t load of doors for me and "smart" people will know that grades dont necessarily equal success e.g. Richard Branson, Alan Sugar etc. but they certainly dont hurt and most "smart" people will normally have good grades too (this is not a coincidence).

There is so much to learn here but dont use it as a substitute for your education thats important too.

You should strive forward try and get some IM stuff going, get the best grades you can with the confidence there is a ton of stuff you can do if you dont achieve the best grades. Think what you could do with what you already know plus a sh1t hot education covering IT, programming, web, computer science or whatever your into.

The answer to your Q is if any of the jobs etc. go through I will owe BHW a LOT.

I definitely believe BHW has influenced my life enough to change a lot of my thoughts.

I have made $100 so far, which is fine, and I'm working on A LOT of projects to increase this:

    Craigslist campaign
    and more...

i work with a few fantastic guys here and that has changed my life. the only thing i'll tell you younger guys (i'm turning 23 soon darn!) anyway is to treat school as insurance.

    Insurance if you lose everything.

Insurance if you really really God darn need a job.

Insurance in the form of friends and network you meet via school not to mention the lessons you learn from it.

one common thing about insurance, you HATE PAYING IT, YOU THINK YOU DON"T NEED IT Until you DO. So keep this in mind guys.

I am a business guy and I treat education as my insurance in case all hells break loose,. just in case.

    all the best,
