I have been using this programme for about a week (Business Edition) and have submitted a few of my 'optimized' blogs, I was wondering if anyone has used it & what they think of it?

They claim Ebay use it along with a host of other well known companies, but I was wondering, why would a site like Ebay use this software? Surely they are big enough to have naturally good SEO results?

This is my first post here so excuse any schoolboy errors in terminology etc. I am also fairy new to black-hat techniques and SEO but am utterly fascinated by it. If anyone has used the aforementioned software please let me know whether I'm wasting my time with it, or if it's worth pursuing.

Are there any other good SEO/Marketing tools that you guys know of that are worth giving a go?

Some things in IBP are "ok" but many things you need to take with a grain of salt regarding the optimization tips in the reports. For instance i was in the top 10 for "SEO" and it was telling me my optimization was poor, and was telling me to change a bunch of stuff that would of thrown my rankings out the window.

I used to use it a bit years ago (even promoted it as an affiliate) but, i wouldn't recommend it now days. Search things like "seo ranking tool" and i can't even see them in the top #50 from just 400k results which doesn't say much for their tool.

Thanks for the reply, yes you are right about the optimization tips they give you, they did conflict with other ways I was told about with regards to optimizing meta tags & keywords & so on..

I guess you have to wait a few weeks to see the real results? ( I submitted my blogs to approx 100 search engines using the auto-submitter) but to be honest most of the 'search engines' that they were submitted to seemed quite trashy & poorly maintained.. so I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I've just discovered '*********' on another thread here, I'll give that a go as Yahoo Answers has always given me good results & this could save some serious time! - If you know of any proven software that gets results please let me know.

P.S: I know of Xrumer but this seems very hard to get & quite hard to master - Is there any similar yet equally effective software out there?

i don't use it for seo or for link directory building. however i do find it very useful for finding potential sites for inbound link requests and for sites that might be good for 'site targeted' ppc ads (it shows Alexa score, google PR, site contact details)

I used it to make ranking reports, but that is was the only thing I liked about it. It really isn't a must-have. If you want to invest in some white hat seo tools worth the price, apply to seomoz professionnal.
