Has anyone used a black hat pop up like affiliate list controller?

I have seen a few products that will put your pop up on to someone elses page, like affiliate list controller. Has anyone tried this? I am also looking to find a free way of doing this. I read somewhere of a "flurry pop" script, but I havent been able to find it.

Any sugesstions?
