Tried cold messaging via WhatsApp (with consent) and got surprisingly good results.

Used a verified number, sent messages in small batches, and personalized them.

Response rate was around 15–20%, compared to ~2% on email.

Anyone else doing cold B2B or client outreach on WhatsApp? Curious how you're handling deliverability and warm-up.

I really want to experiment this? Can you share your strategy a bit like whats the sequence of msgs and from where you bought the num?

Nice lift on WhatsApp—you’re right, the response is way higher than email. A few things I’ve found help with deliverability and warm-up:
  • Use real engagement first: add new contacts as regular friends, send a “welcome” message or a quick check-in before pitching.
  • Small rolling batches: 10–20/day per number, then slowly ramp over 2–3 weeks.
  • Rotate numbers & devices: spread messages across multiple SIMs or API senders so no single line spikes.
  • Vary your copy lightly: keep the core pitch but tweak greetings or hooks to avoid strict template-detection.
  • Leverage WhatsApp Business API (Twilio, Zenvia, etc.) if you can—template messages get approval and higher throughput.
Once you’ve “warmed” a number with friendly chats and low volume, you can scale to ~50/day with minimal flags. Good luck!

Hello my friend! I believe that with the growth of WhatsApp, people have shifted most of their interactions from social networks and email to WhatsApp. In my opinion, email has become more of a tool for formal communication, especially for business administration that requires more restricted documents.
So, depending on the audience you want to reach, it's recommended to do user-consented prospecting through WhatsApp if you're aiming for greater reach and better interaction. However, keep in mind that if you send out mass messages without the user’s consent, your number is very likely to get banned and you could even lose your account permanently.
So proceed with caution, if done right, the results are definitely worth it!
