So the account has like 13k followers, in a saturated niche, has low quality followers(not bots, just not active enough), has terrible engagement (200-300 likes and 0 to 5 comments per post) and most importantly I just can't fkn monetize it .

Now I have another niche in mind. It's way less saturated, content will be a bit better, I know where to find better quality followers etc. but it's completely different.

The plan is, just delete every single post, change everything in your profile accordingly, start posting new content. I'm guessing I wouldn't lose any more than 30-40% of my followers.

So what do you think?

Your likes will drop so much. People followed you for the content you post. If you switch it up your engagment will go downhill. Many people won't unfollow but will like nothing at all. I wouldn't recommend it. But hey, this is all just advice. You can do whateva da fuakk you wonna do mayne!

thank you for your answer,
I also agree that many wouldn't probably unfollow but the thing is my engagement already is shit. It wouldn't make much of a difference if a post gets 30 likes or 200 at 13k.

I'm thinking starting with 13k and really low engagement is better than starting a new account and literally starting from zero.

What do you think?

if the engagement is already less, it won't matter if you delete all posts and everything and upload new posts and build new audience.

So, the existing audience will only give a boost to the newly designed page.

Hear the good responses from many here. If the account is crap now, just change it. Some say to delete all posts, I wouldn't do that. I'd delete all of the bad looking posts, but keep the higher engagement posts. And always keep the first post (oldest post). This will show how old the account is, which is good if you ever want to monetize or sell it later on.

Anyway, whatever you do, will be better than what you're getting now.
