Has anyone tried abusing Flippa?

OK - firstly this isn't my scene as I make my money a little bit different from most of you all, but bear with me - I'm pretty creative and can be quite evil when I need to be.

I don't know too much about methods involving affiliate marketing/content locking/cpa etc as it's not what I do, but I was on Flippa today looking for domains containing my keywords with a bit of PR. And every site I looked at I went through their process - clicked on their ads - filled in their content lockers. Then I thought about how many other people must be doing the same thing.

Now I know Flippa charges to list a site ( I wouldn't have a clue how much, I only buy), but if you were to put some really high paying offer up, then list the site on flippa for a pretty good price, maybe fake the PR, maybe claim some incredible earning. Well wouldn't lots of people have a deep look at your site and click everywhere trying to work out how that much income is generated?

Of course you'd need to use throwaway Flippa accounts - because you'd never actually sell the site - just repeat with 301's etc.

Maybe it wouldn't work - or maybe someone can get something out of this - or maybe I don't know enough about the whole affiliate marketing/content locking/cpa offer methods etc.

Like I said before I earn my money differently, so I'm not going to bother to test or research this. Thats for you guys.

Sounds plausible, but definitely not long-term. And I'm sure it'll become saturated now :D

$20 was the listing fees a couple of months back(not sure if they increased it or not) and there is charge of around $20 odd for featured listing , extra charges for bold etc. So, expect a charge of anywhere between $20 to $50 for just listing the item. We are not talking about the final value fee as yet which is certain percentage of the sales amount.

Secondly, those who visit flippa generally know what google ads are and cpa offers are, so they refrain from clicking on it. IF they have questions, they ask in the comment section and they don't generally play around.

Haven't visited flippa for nearly two months after some unsatisfactory deal, but this is the general view from me since I had been active over there before that (buying a bit and selling couple of times only)

I have sold a few sites at Flippa before and I feel that sites with affiliate income doesn't earn as good as adsense income..also how much Ur site can fetch depends on what's Ur reputation on Flippa..if u keep changing acc, u can't retain the reputation

I think Flippa makes you disable parts of your site. Right?

OK then - not the best idea.

Like I said, it's not my scene, just trying to help someone who may need it.

    No.
You could make decent money without abusing flippa though. I have seen seller selling autoblogs and make over $60K a year just on flippa.
