I have a single-page website for about 3 months and the ranking of the long-tail keywords was good, but now I can't see the ranking of the keywords in GSC. Has anyone succeeded with a single-page SEO? And how do I properly optimize my website in 2024? Please let me know the skills and tips for an on-page SEO or I will buy it. PM me

someone (who I won't disclose) had PM'd me 3 of his sites some months ago, and they were all 1-page websites.

Up until that point I had said numerous times that google doesn't rank 1 page websites anymore, but that guy had proved me wrong, so yes, they still do work. But his sites were a mix of local EMDs + aged domains (and they were clean too, no shady / low value backlink, also niche-relevant backlinks mostly)...

I think if you find a local EMD that's either expired and clean, or never used before you can rank 1 page sites if you target low competition keywords (although, 1 of his sites targeted a high volume keyword, I think it had 8000 monthly searches if memory serves me well)

At this point I'm already convinced that Google's algo works differently depending on the niche. Game hacks and free movies niche are still thriving with parasite SEO.

Single page sites are ranking good so it's not a negative impact for rankings I think so

If the rankings and the traffic are down try to fix whether you have broken links

Otherwise keep building external links , ON page optimization

Try with more keyword variations and see the results

Acoording to my knowledge, make sure your content is good, your site loads fast, works well on mobile, uses structured data, has internal links, and stays updated. Many people have made this work.

U can try to use heading tags (H1, H2, H3) and structure your page with clear headings and subheadings. Pls ensure the H1 tag is focused on the primary keyword, and other headings are supporting the context.

Organize your content with clear headings and subheadings. Use H1 for the main title and H2 and H3 for the subsections. In this way it will help both users and search engine understanding the content.
Also, you could focus on URL structuring and Internal linking then and there

I have about 4000 characters of content now. Should I add more?
I think this content is sufficient for a single page. Make sure to optimize it by your target keywords and performing thorough on-page SEO. Also, include your primary keywords in the title tag for better results.

The formula for calculating the key weight contains the following block: Ln(Sc / (Kw * Su))
Sc - the sum of all pages of the site
Kw - the number of keywords such on the entire site
Su - the sum of unique pages of the site on which these keywords are located.

In view of this, as you can understand, any site with many pages will always win over a site with one page and you will need a lot of links and rankings to beat a simple site with many pages, which will need fewer links and money to promote the same query.
