I've noticed this recently, and I've taken a fairly big since September. My rankings have remained relatively stable, although I did experience a massive hit which has already gotten my keywords back to their usual spots.

However, I notice that some days, my website converts very highly - I end up making anywhere from 10-15 sales a day... and some days they are off.

There are a LOT of webmasters in commercial niches who are also experiencing the same thing. And it all seems to have started around September.

Has anyone also noticed this? We are dubbing it "zombie traffic", as the discussion at webmasterworld rages on.

    webmasterworld com/ google/ 4773145.htm

(I had to remove spaces and dots because I can't post links - its clearly not spam so if a mod could link it up thanks :) )

Please take a look at your income and lets see if we can solve this.

Personally, I think Google's new "rank brain" algo was designed to rip webmasters off and suck more money out of them. But hey, what's new about that... especially with the youtube "red" bullshit they just brought out.

Anyway, please take the time to read through the thread first if you do have anything to add.

There are buying trends not just online, but everywhere and it's no big deal. Just the way it is. No conspiracy theory for google to suck more money, sorry.

accelerator, if you take a look over the thread there are multiple webmasters claiming that they have had the lowest conversions around this time period than they have ever had. I have experienced it too. and normally see an upswing around this time of year... however, conversions have been trash apart from a few days during the week.

i have seen the same my sales began to dwindle for me late September and the last 2 weeks of October have also been flat, just makes me work harder, and its a good time to brainstorm new sites, this is the first year of me doing this consistently so hopefully next year I will have a better feel for sales fluctuations.
