It is just the matter of view, someone can argue that lottery could be a waste of money due to its probability but you never know what's gonna happen.

I agree it's like a lottery, but you don't put $1000 in the lottery, this is pure gambling. While I agree putting a few hundreds that you won't be sorry if you lose in shitcoins, 1 grand is just too much and there are better opportunities.

You invest what you can lose. I am comfortable losing it as it is nothing for me.
since I entered the crypto scene my view on fiat kind of changed, I decided to simply ignore such pressure for what I don't have in my hands right now. That's my way of staying mentally healthy in this scene... I think many people are like that as well.

I realistically think everywhere on the net people are just giving random figures they got from X coin (which they hold and want to increase the price by promoting it) You can go to Reddit and see every other guy is like he made $xxx into $xxxx.
The point is how are you going to take the numbers at a given value? how do you know it's real money deposited in bank accounts and not just something typed from the keyboard? And I am not talking about just texts there are so many fake screenshots of wallets showing fake no of tokens and asset values.
The past 2 months in the crypto scene a lot of people are jumping in the scene and just trying to promote their portfolio every possible way.
Just my 0.02 USD which I earned from shit coins.
