I was just doing some googling about minimum wage and saw that it was only $7.25 an hour in the USA. So thats $58 for the average 8 hour work day. A few minutes ago I made more than $58 getting a CPA offer lead. Has anyone here actually worked for minimum wage before and then come to IM?

I had a minimum wage job back when I was in high school. Personally I think its a good thing for people to have workd for a minimum wage at some point in there life, gives you a bit of perspective and appreciation for how well we do.

I've worked for like $2/hr waitressing when I was a youngin. Worked for not more than that just a few years ago with ChaCha. Work is work, making some money is better than making none.

Money is money, as long as your making some, it's all good, I'd rather work a 9-5, then not work at all, well in fact, I'd rather get the money from a 9-5, then no money at all, but I prefer my monthly checks for working 12-4AM

5 years ago, I got hired into Burger King. I made $5.50 an hour.

Min. wage in Michigan is now $7.40.

I work at Best Buy now and get paid a lil more above min. wage.

I have been researching IM for the last 11 months with several bumps of success on the internet including cookie stuffing, pussycash, freelancing, etc.

I am trying to make it long term. My goal is to start making $500 monthly first. It is realistic.

    yup

and if you're a girl under 30, you can work for a prostitution house and make 4-8 bucks for every guy you screw.

But if you're really really pretty and young, you go freelance or work in Bangkok and make thousands.

    sad...

You might be datin' yourself there...lol. My first job was in 1973 for min wage of $1.70/hour but I was able to save up enough to buy a kickin' state of the art (at that time) stereo setup: Fisher receiver (250 watts per channel!), Garrard turntable and a dual deck cassette deck with that incredible new technology of Dolby noise reduction. Booyah!

My first job at Arby's payed a big $4.25 an hour. That was much better than the $5 a week allowance that I had to do dishes, laundry, and clean the house for. Talk about slave trade.
