I just got an email from Odesk telling me about their new writing program. It appears to be a JV of some sorts. I was curious if anyone has used it or knows anything about it? It's called MediaPiston .com. Here's their email:

    Hello, xxxx

We saw your job post xxxxxx and thought you might be interested in a new, invite-only service from oDesk dedicated to providing high-quality, original content in an easy to use interface. It's called MediaPiston.

This new service provides convenient access to high quality writers, and a dedicated editorial review process for every article. Plus, you only pay for articles you accept.

    Hi mate,

I just got the email today. I'm willing to give it a go, but to be honest I'd rather find a writer, on odesk, who I can grow a solid and trustworthy relationship with.

i.e I build and maintain a website for his personal needs, he then sends me 10 articles/month - Much smarter in my opinion. You also get preferential service ;)

Make 10 wordpress websites for 10 different writers and you could have a team of writers working for you indefinitely. Not only that but you also make them happy :) ..by the way you don't pay them as long as you blast "their site" with a little bit of targetted traffic.

    ---

As a small tip for those who'd like to try mediapiston. It would be much wiser to pay the maximum i.e $105.00/3500 words and then split it into "mini articles" so you don't pay the full price per article.

    Warm regards,

    Dreams
