I wrote an eBook and planned to advertise it with Facebook Ads. Turns out Facebook keeps shitting on my ads and not approving them to the point that I said the hell with them and gave up.

Then I turned to Bing ads. I managed to get my text ad approved and I have some funds in my account, but I'm wondering if anyone even makes it big with Bing ads? Is it possible to get a decent conversion rate? Anyone with Bing ads experience want to add in?

I cant say for conversion rate not knowing anything about it but i think it has good potential. How many kw's are you bidding on and what kind of price are you seeing, and what targeting. I would just got for direct search and ignore the content/partner search otherwise target as little as possible, keep it broad for tye geo gender and all that

I'm targeting 3 keywords, max bid per click ranges from $0.05 to $1.52. Only advertising on the search network (Bing, AOL, Yahoo), no content network. I'm in the dating niche so I decreased my demographics for women by 90% and ages 35+ by 90%, that's the max decrease. Set ads to run all day, all hours in the US. So far spent around $3 and got 6 clicks.. I don't care how much I spend as long as I can profit in the end, am i targeting good enough to get conversions?

EDIT: Just changed my max bid for all keywords to 0.30

I started bing ads with clickbank products like most people a while back. Got okay revenues.
Moved to promoting cpa offers and had really good roi. The account got banned for violating tos, so I started to buying accounts preloaded with coupons.
Optimizing your campaigns is a must. If you're new to bing ads there's some wso download floating around called penny per click 2 which has good tips to get started on bing ad network.

I tried to promote CPA offers a while back but couldn't get my ads approved. Are you promoting free items?

It doesn't matter, whether its google, facebook, or bing.

Conversion depends what it is your selling and how your selling it.

You don't think Bing is less likely to be as successful to make a profit since most people use Facebook or Google?

Traffic is still there. Money is still there. Just not as much volume as Google/FB.

IMO bing and yahoo both work great if you're targeting people over 35 . I had a good experience in the elderly niche I would also go with adwords or try to optemise my ad and get it approved on fb or IG ads. Best of luck

Bing is definitely working, but it became pretty competitve in the past. On the other hand it definitelyworth trying out, especially if you have some coupons to use (that's what most people do).

OP make sure you are collecting data and A/B testing.
Run at least 2 ads and check which converts better then keep testing and making improvements.

Bign ads work as long as both your copy and your product are compelling... like everywhere else.

Bing ads to clickbank worked well for me. Got a huge email list and even got some higher than expected direct click sales. (I never buy anything from just starting from ad)

I am guessing I picked good gravity stuff though.

But yeah as long as your ebook and good and affordable and something consumers want, I would imagine that would work.

Just make sure you have a landing page to capture that opt in email.

Otherwise you are just losing money. Good luck!

bid on as many relevant kw's as you can. set all bid prices to $0.05. slowly increase to get on higher position.
set your daily budget to $100
make 5 ad copies to rotate
make 2 landing pages to rotate
add 2 different offers to rotate
at the end of the day, you'll have all the stats you need.
big mistake is starting your campaign with a $10 budget.
in regards to the fear of losing money: you're not losing money. you're buying data. think of the people who take out 200K loan to open a restaurant. or 50K for college education. what's risking $200? it's nothing! business is all psychology.
at end of the day, you'll have all the data you need to grow the campaign.
expunge the bad ad copies. the bad lander. the bad offer. now your next $100 will make you far more money.
