I saw this and thought it was very interested. I am definetly buying a pair of these whenever they come available. Think of the increase in work production with glasses like theses or things for your every day life? video chat, GPS, etc.

Anyways, here is their video on it. This is too badass.

Why not build your own pair and use more powerful parts for it as well as a much bigger battery for a fraction of the cost?

I already hate it, think it's yet another leap towards laziness, will make people who already think too much of themselves get an even larger head by living through voice-commands(watch how they treat others after getting Google Glass and using it for a while), just about everything Google Glass can do can already be done with nearly no additional effort.

But this is not why I really hate Google Glass.

I hate Google Glass because every image I've seen of it, and I don't care if it's still beta, has not had something to wrap behind the person's head or neck when wearing it. You're wearing a device kin to your smart phone, and the people who are making it are accepting even the possibility of it falling off your face? This device was made for special people.

How do you not get beat up in Paris, when wearing stuff like this? Steve Mann got assaulted by one of the stuff, cause of what he was wearing in McDonalds.

It's hyped up junk. Nothing more. There is nothing revolutionary about it.
    Kudos for presentation tough.

Don't think I will ever buy a pair. I don't see nothing revolutionary in it indeed. Everything they can do I already do in my everyday life using the tools I have.

Why would you send an email when you can write a letter in your every day life using tools. Why would you look up something up on the internet if you can find it in an encyclopedia? The reason is, because it's a lot faster and easier.

To be honest i never saw the point of a tablet, until i tried it.

Wearable computers have been around for a long time, and you can easily build a much more powerful one for a fraction of the cost of the Google Glasses if they are really going to be $1500.

Google Glasses are just overhyped outdated devices, that people are going to buy just because google made

    http://www.techradar.com/us/news/world-of-tech/google-glass-powered-by-a-2011-mobile-processor-1147391

The tech writer says the Google Glass is very innovative so its not important what the specs are. Which is such a load of bs, a company with the resources and number of developers such as Google could have easily made a much more powerful device in the same amount of time.
