I'm creating a list of some catchy domain names for example BackLikes
and other names that are similar to that. They are all .com
I'm wondering if I should create a list and sell the whole list in bulk.
I see these kinds of list for sale on craigslist and on flippa

has anyone had success with this..

I'm thinking it might cost me $200 for about 20 good names and then I can sell it for $800 or so
before having to pay anything to renew them

does that sound like it would work?

Nothing ventured nothing gained. It's a risk.

It's risky... never know if you will find that one person on Flippa who wants the domain names. Then you have to factor in listing costs and whatnot.

It's a risk, It is best to invest wisely and look for cheaper domain names with PR i got an aged domain at a cheaper marketplace like domainka, I earned fortune selling it because first i got it cheap and second i found the right buyer.

As an example, i saw a domain sell on godaddy auctions for about $200 and there was loads of bids, something like westcoastcars, so i bought eastcoastcars, (not the real domains) and it hasn't had a single bid,

It depends on the person buying them, sometimes that person doesn't show up for a long time.

Most domain speculation is no longer profitable. Who are you going to sell your domains to?

It seems like a lot of work without a guarantee of profit.
The best thing is to try to register domains for specific purposes and try to put them into your own use. I guess this is the most profitable way to deal with domains now.

Buying domain names for profit is not easy as a small player in this market.
Yeah sure there is money in it but not often for the small start up company. In other words do not buy and resale unless
you have the money to loose on what you spent in investing.

    Cheers,
    Unclemike

There's way safer and easier ways to make money than this. Besides, how are you going to build your client base? Not everyone is going to be looking for your 20ish domain names. That's very, very risky.

PR means page rank, Well, I'd suggest that you go ahead and make our purchase in domainka if you want to get good domain names without spending a lot. If your keen with buy and sell details for domains you can also read on domainkaforum before buying you'll get all the information that you'll need on that site.
