Hi guys, title should pretty much say it all. When using scrapebox to harvest a shitlload of blogs, and say your IP gets banned, or the IP of one of your proxies, etc....how long is the ban?

I dont harvest often and Id like to use private proxies this time. If the ban is only for a few hours Im fine. Is that how long it is?

I scraped long time ago with 10 private proxies and the ban was for about 2 days. Never did the same mistake again.

Like you already probably know you should always harvest with public proxies.

Another solution it's changing your own ip just after the bann if you have a dynamic IP :D

As Alaltaierii pointed out, try and use public proxies when harvesting.

Sometimes the ban is for 24-48 hours, othertimes for much longer depending on the level and frequency of abuse by the IP.

    I do so:
    1. check proxy
    2. harvest
    3. check checked proxy - some of them in ban already
    4. harvest with the remaining proxy
Doing so I don't aware is proxy already in ban or not.

Don't you just have to enter a captcha at the google search page using the proxy?

Yep but you can't do that in scrapebox and that would take lots of time to fill out captchas every search term ...
