Hi, I hope someone can help me.

I want to harvest email addresses from a single sub-forum of a large forum. I can't post the link because I'm a new member, but it uses custom software.

Additional pages of threads can be reached via the links at the bottom of the page. Many threads also have more than one page and these additional pages are linked from the main subforum view.

Clicking into each thread shows the posts and beside each post is a users "Profile" page. If you click a users profile icon you get a page that shows a table with the email address. Not all users choose to display their email address - so in some cases its not present.

Basically I need a program that I can point to to a subforum and have it look at each page of each thread, check the profile page for every user that posts in those threads, and extract any email address found.

I already have scrapebox, but am rubbish at using it. Can use it for this?

Otherwise, how would you suggest I do it? And using what program?

    Thanks!

Almost all email harvesters can do this job, you may try GSA Email Spider.

Thanks for offer HMB, but I want to try to learn this myself. The GSA app looks like it would do it - but its $99... anything cheaper/free?

    Thanks

You can also do that with scrapebox, but won't be better than an email harvester.
Harvest all the profile links from google first
    site:destinationsite.com inurl:profile-page.html
Then grab emails on the urls you harvested.
