On this day October 29th 1969
a man by the name of Professor Kleinrock
invented the internet in the sunny state of California at
UCLA. We all owe this man, a lot. To say the least!

There will be a celebration on USTREAM, You're On. Free LIVE VIDEO Streaming, Online Broadcasts. Create webcasts, video chat, stream videos on the Internet. Live streaming videos, TV shows
today with Professor Kleinrock in attendance, This guy is one smart
cookie, and he will be sharing his thoughts on his creation.
Also in attendance will be Duran Duran (lol) This is the guy,
that was the fist to sell music on the net.

Along with many other pioneers. And new wavers!

I bet if you watch you will learn something new!

So tune into this one!

FEED YOUR BRAIN.

Cheers.

Hell yeah! LCD, much better than LSD, because it has the word crystal in it.

I invented it in 1933, then I got cryogenically frozen as I knew the world wasn't ready for the internet. Seriously, womens ankles used to make guys jizz in their pants - the internet would have destroyed the world... anyway when I thawed out in 2003, still a young man, my invention had been stolen... my own fault for not locking the box it was in (got distracted thinking id left the radio on). My next invention will change the world again, so I'm not too bothered.

Al gore was also right about global warming. (bump)

I personally liked being paid in LSD and then playing Left 4 Dead. Crazy realism. They are going to EAT ME!!

In deed, we owe the Internet today to Professor Kleinrock. It was because of his innovative and revolutionizing ideas that we have the most powerful means of communication known to man today. With the Internet, making correspondence for whatever purposes has become very easy, fast, and convenient over the past years. :usa:

Man I just saw this and was about to post "thanks al gore" only to find the exact phrase already posted :(

can someone create a user id called "Al Gore" so I can thank him please

Happy B-Day to all them millions of metres of cabling, routers and servers not forgetting the rest of the equipment which make up the Internet today! And most importantly all those peeps which connect and develop for the internet to help make it the way it is today! 40 years of pure freedom no and no privacy! LOL!

Here here! I wonder where we will be in another 20, 40 years!

Kleinrock pretty much based all of his experiments on someone elses experiment. He did not really "discover" internet.

In that case, thank you cisco systems!
