Hacked Facebook/Messenger/Instagram Profile - Removed Email & Phone Number

Hello,

Recently one of my family member's social media accounts was hacked. The person behind the attack changed the usual - Password, email and removed the phone number associated with the account.

I've managed to recover the Instagram account, regardless. As this was the only email notification he received (about the changes on his profile). But I can't find a way to recover the Facebook profile.

Perhaps an information that could help you help me solve this ''puzzle'':
1) He hasn't received any email notifying him his Facebook account has been logged in from somewhere else
1a) Thus, he hasn't received any email notifying him his Facebook account has been changed (Password / Email / Phone)
(I find this very weird - but I went through his mailbox, and there were no emails from Facebook - not even in the spam folder)

2) I've tried to go through the usual Facebook's recovery procedure. However, I can't finish it since his phone number or email is no longer associated with the profile (only the hacker's email is there - which uses Outlook.com domain - if that helps somehow).

3) The person behind the attack changed a high school on his Facebook profile to ''Southern Illinois University Carbondale'' (Which I find weird)
3a) Couldn't spot any other changes on the account

4) The Instagram account has been hacked (apparently) From the US and by using iPhone (at least that was the last login location/device on Instagram).

5) The Facebook account is not deleted - I can still find it.

Any ideas on how to recover the Facebook account? I'm completely clueless (as I left the social media game a while ago).

It looks like someone changed his information using his own mobile phone or the person is closely related to them who had access to their phone because there is always an email or notification if any information is changed on any of your social media account. In case of FB you can reach out to their help desk and provide all the necessary information to appeal for the recovery of account. There are some chances of the recovery of the account.

Your email was leaked so they get access to the email and recover FB and delete all notification emails from FB

maybe your facebook account was stolen and that means they deleted everything related to your fb mail - phone number and password. maybe you should verify dnah with ID

Please contact a professional unit so they can get your facebook back and secure for you

Who would be a professional unit that can do this? Need this service

The only clue I can see here is that the Hacker had access to the victime device, mobile phone, laptop... otherwise it can't be.

Either your familý member has oppened his facebook or email in some other device which he tought that was fine.

Or, he has been connected to a Free WiFi and checked his facebook,email...(most closely to happen)

By not knowing, he accidentaly give access for RDP, that could be done by a simple message Ok/Cancel

Last thing, for me i would neglect all the hackers thing cuz it's hard work for a simple FB account that would not make him any gains. So he may check with friends and closed people that's where it comes from (i think)

If he didn't get the mail, definitely the person got hold of his phone to clear the mail. Investigate further, the person is close.
