About 3 months ago I started with one niche and 3 new websites. All 3 websites added in Google Webmasters Tools (I can track links there). And all that 3 websites now are in sandbox or whatever is that (disappear from search for main keyword). After that I make another 2 websites, same niche - two different keywords. Didn't add sites in GWT. After much harder link building both sites are in search results one at second, another at third page. Simple question - did GWT can affect to my websites at that way? Google I'm cheat you with link building, check out my websites now! I will add 2 more websites in GWT and make another test now. Did you have some experience or same problem?
I don't think WMT can hurt you, I've used it on pretty much all my money sites and any that have tanked have been for other reasons. You occasionally get a grace period where new sites will rank really well before plummeting, so it could be that. I'd also take a look at what's different between your backlinking strategies for both sites and see if there's something there.
Well, don't u think it will be wise to ditch Google products (analytics, GWT, api's, gmail accounts etc) when doing Black Hat Seo? I'm mean, come on man, Google says it all the time that their products are connected, and that they collect data on you, and bla bla...
I don't have any websites deindexed or sandboxed using GWT. Review your link building strategy as that might be the cause.
If I'm using any blackhat methods and want to get a good PR/SERP position, I'd be wary of using any Google products.
I use google's tools on all of my websites. But I do have them divided between different accounts. For anyone that thinks having the tools on their website is the kiss-of-death. Consider this, Chrome holds a 32% market share of web browsers. That is more than enough user data for google to determine the quality of your sites. Cheers!
I tried blasting links to sites with GWT and without it. The sites with GWT always got sandboxed. Coincidence? I think not
