Guys, what would be your pick as software, to create a social media (free/paid)?

    Guys, what would be your pick as software, to create a social media (free/paid script)?

    Something like Oxwall if you prefer ?
    I got it installed on a box and paid for a template and few plugins but i ain't sure about it to be honest ?

    No i meant an entire script.

    Like if you would create another Facebook, Tagged etc....

    If you were going to create another Facebook you definitely wouldn't be using a pre-made script. If you want something fun to mess around with you can go with a pre-made script, but otherwise hire a developer. Some times it can be fine to use a pre-made script to get the minimum viable product down and test the market, but if you have an idea that "is going to be the next Facebook", get a custom script made.

    Really depends on what you want to create. You could use something Open Source to start, but I have no doubt the site will mutate as you figure out what exactly the purpose of the website is.
