Hi Guys, 4 months ago i signed up for an advertising company named yllix.com and they were offering $15 of free advertising and net15 payment system and they give me something like pre-ordered credits to advertise with now they send me an invoice to my house through mail for $1100 !! and when i emailed them to close my account they told me you have to pay the invoice 1st!

the question now is that i afraid if they can harm me in any way or take an legal action? is that possible? i didn't signed any paper or any thing!

please guys need your suggestions fast!

Did you signed up only on their web-site? Or did you complete any paper where you was accepting to pay any other fee? You have to know that when you sign in for an account or program - you should have accepted their rules, regulations and fees. Try to remember what did you make, give more information and I can help you with some proper advises, also where are you from as country (is very important your country legislation as well).
    Regards,

Then forget about them, Egypt is a country where these kind of things are hardly accepted. So just ignore them, they just try to get advantage from your lack of knowledge :)
    Take care :)

    yes i checked that box

and i sent them an email telling them that i will not pay a penny they replied with this email:

"You bought traffic in worth of $1.82 in December 2012, $10.50 in January 2013, $167.95 in February 2013, $80.03 in March 2013 and $0.15 in April 2013.

The remaining amount of your debt are fees for past due notices, interests of delayed payment etc.

Please make sure all the invoices will be paid this week, since the interests are still growing and in case of your non-payment we will be forced to contact our lawyers and the debt collection agency."

i call them scammers because i didn't benefit from their traffic (very low to 0 traffic) not even 1 cent, but the problem i didn't imagine that it could bring all that traffic at once! and invoice me $1000! i just didn't expect that and i don't know what to do! , i admit it's my fault to leave a campaign running but it's because i gave up with their garbage traffic

anyway i asked some lwayers here in Egypt and they told me that Egypt is out of this game they can't harm me whatsoever

    thanks

You making a mistake, and leaving your campaigns running dose not constitute saying they are sammers. That would be your fault for making a mistake. If the traffic was junk then you should have taken the proper measures to close everything out. It sounds like you just throw up your hands and walked away to me.

Agree with Tom - so you used their campaign and now you're saying that was low traffic - maybe for them was high traffic so unless you don't have jurisdiction in your country - you should try to get to an understanding with the "scammers". If in your country you can still survive with this - you should stay chill and go further but don't do it again :)
