    Hi guys,

For the last 6 months I've been working on a new marketplace that sells digital media files. Potential customers would be media creators like youtubers, small advertising companies, app programers, etc.
All this time I was totally focused on the technical side of things, and just about a week ago I've been able to dedicate more time to search for promotion strategies to get the marketplace going.

I know some of you have a lot of experience so mabe you can help me with some ideas/direction? Right now this is where I'm at:

1- Pre-launch campaign, offering coupons to grow my email list - I like the idea, but how do I drive visitors the the pre-launch site in the first place?
2- Facebook/Twitter - Facebook does not allow like gating, so how to promote and engage customers? Facebook ads?
3- AdWords/Bing - The last/best option to drive targeted traffic? Is there a way to promote a marketplace without spending huge amounts of money?

Sorry if this is to basic, I'm kind of new to SEO and marketing, so I would truly appreciate yor help.

    Thanks!

FB Ads can work very well for you.. also if you built a FB page with say 1000 to 5000 friends on you can promote your stuff there... testing the latter at the moment seems to work just fine ;)

Thanks Sam, I'll look into Facebook Ads more deeply.
