I would but that would just piss him off more. I need something that could hurt him without him knowing unless i told him. This is actually brutal though he will not give up.

how did telling people you're bisexual cost you $10,000?

just ignore the guy and don't give him the reaction he wants. if you know who he actually is see what you can do about getting a peace bond or restraining order. if his shit is actually costing you $10k a night in losses, sue him for slander.

sounds like you're just digging for a way to take a chunk out of some dude and want us to tell you how to do it and get away with it...

OMG is this a serious thread?
well he says you are bisexual, go post pics/vids of you and a hot girl getting it on and say on the video say this pic/video is dedicated to him. That would be an easy simple solution or just hire a hitman. *joke*

You have to decide whether to escalate or de-escalate the conflict. You know the person and the particulars. Which do you think will work? Typically, you should try to de-escalate first- that means being diplomatic, talking to the guy, telling him doing this sort of thing won't benefit anyone (and will harm both of you, him included, when it comes to doing future deals with people). The goal is to make him see reason. After people blow off some steam, they may consider it. Ask to both agree not to perpetuate this bad blood. Give it a chance- if he sees reason, that is better than any ongoing battle of attrition. If he does not see the light, the transition between de-escalation and escalation is driving home the point to him that this really won't be good for him either. If he still persists, and it comes to it, there's really no limit but your imagination as to what you could do to his business, his reputation, etc.

He's your friend and you're in Canada, uit fucking around and drive yourself down to the local cop shop tomorrow and file for a peace bond. Once he's been served the bond, if he keeps coming at you, you have the legal ground to really go after him. He's harassing you or slandering your business. The shit ain't legal. First step, get the peace bond...

Unless you can prove a motive and that he has actually done something to you physically, the cops aren't going to help.

Your first mistake was staring a business with a friend and not keeping it all business. Sounds like some personal shit got in between.

The best reaction to have is no reaction at all.

I'm not always for passive movements but in a case where someone cares enough about your reputation (meaning he's jealous or he's hoping you're bisexual ;) ) His only motivation is your reaction to it. Act like it doesn't bother you, if people you know don't ask you about it an just assume, then they're terrible friends in the first place and you don't need them.

If you react especially directly to it, it will appear to others that you are defensive and have something to hide. Even if you do have something to hide, don't let him get under your skin and move on. He'll run out of steam.
