Just a quick trick I figured out...nothing special but, yet another trick you can do with Scrapebox!

First download the Addons Blog Analyzer and Alive Check.

    1. Get ready to harvest (have a couple working proxies)
    2. Hit the wordpress bubble (for your footprint) and enter a few keywords related to your niche. You don't need many.
    3. Wait for the Harvest to complete. Trim all blogs to root. Remove Duplicates.
    4. Put that list into the blog analyzer and hit Start.
    5. Now, do not hit remove bad blogs. That would remove some great potential RSS feeds. Instead go to save list and do save all wordpress blogs to Hard drive.
    6. Open that file with a text editor and add "/feed" to the end of each one. You now have a bunch of lines that say something like http://somesite.com/feed
    7. Now save that list, run it through the Alive Checker.
    8. Done! Just remove the Dead blogs. Test some RSS feeds out manually just to make sure everything worked.

    Have fun autoblogging!

Many Autoblogging platforms require RSS feeds. (or can be used optionally).

For example I am using WP-Robot 3.50. You can use the RSS feeds for a campaign.

When most people see this they use the manual method for getting feeds...

Manual method: Searching google for your keywords and finding blogs. You will probably end up with 3-4 feeds after about 15 minutes.

It that same time you can get over 1,000 with scrapebox. Which method do you think is better?:nutkick:

Just to speed a things for people who don't know how to mass add /feed at the end of the sites:

-Open Notepad, or Notepad2, or Notepad++ or whatever you use for text editing,
-Use option "Replace" and put .com to be replaced with .com/feed, and click Replace all. Same thing if you have domains with .net, .edu, .org on the list , change them all at once with .net/feed, .edu/feed, .org/feed

Yes thank you for that. If I could still edit the OP i would throw that in there.

Another way to do do it with Notepadd++ is with macros. If you have lot's of different domain extensions this might be a bit faster, usually TZ2011's method will be faster though.

To do it with macros just hit "start recording macro" and have '/feed' on your cilpboard. then press (each individually, do not hold) down, End, Ctrl+C.

Do that about five times and then stop recording then macro. Then just hold control and shift and keep pressing P for playback.

Hey guys I have been gathering a lot of feeds lately and it just hit me...

you really don't need to do steps 4 and 5 at all. You can still gather feeds from sites that aren't Wordpress blogs...and after searching with that footprint and using the alive checker you will mostly only be left with good wordpress feeds...

So if you're in a rush, forget about those steps. Without them you might end up with a few bad feeds, but hopefully you're autoblogging platform can catch that.

I am finally trying to work on this, but need help on this one:

"Test some RSS feeds out manually just to make sure everything worked"

    How do you do this?

    Thanks.

When you use rss feeds how much of the article does it post?

Can anyone provide a link to a sample.

I auto blog but typically use Youtube vids, etc because I never like what an Rss produced as far as output.

Let's use this feed as an example,http://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/rss.xml

It's the Top Stories Feed for BBC News:

When you open it in a browser you see links for full news stories accompanied with an excerpt of the story below the hyperlink. Clicking the link will take you to the page with the full story.

There should be similar formatting of content when you view the rss feed you are testing.
