    I hope after reading this long guide your sells will increase by 250% as it happened with me.

    1.How to come up with Killer Titles That Bring Money

    When it comes to choosing your book's title, there are 2 methods to choose from:
    1. An SEO'ed (Search Engine Optimized) Title. Choose a title that contains the primary keyword you want your book to be found for. For example, if your book is about "dog training" and your primary keyword is "dog training", your title could be "Everything You Need To Know About Dog Training" or "Dog Training For Dummies"......something with the primary keyword "dog training" in it.
    2. An Attention Grabbing Title. Choose a title that is catchy and attention grabbing. Something that will stand out from the crowd of other books on dog training. Such a title could be something like "Fido, Stop Peeing On That Rug!" or "Dogs Gone Wild"....you get the picture! :)
    Action Step: Go hit up some magazine racks and make a long list of headlines that catch your eye. On your way to the store, check out all the billboards you pass.I know you could have saved yourself a trip and just did it last night when researching book ideas, but honestly, breaking up these two steps is more effective in my experience.

    2.Creating Gorgeous Professional Kindle Covers

    1. Dark backgrounds seem to do better with white or off-white lettering. They are easy on the eye, easily noticed when scrolling through a list of Kindle books.
    2. Human Faces Give Trust + use an intriguing background image that also conveys the storyline of book.
    3. Toot Your Own Horn - When your book hits the top 100 in a Best Seller category, slap a golden seal or some kind of stand-out text on your cover stating your book is a "Top 100 On Amazon" book.
    4. If you go to Fiverr and type "Kindle Book Cover" in the search bar, a list of gigs show up. At the top of the search results, click on "rating". This will list the top consumer rated gigs for Kindle covers first. Simply click on a gig that interests you, and check out the artist's work.
    Action Step: By now, you should have a profitable idea for a book, along with a title chosen. Your assignment for tonight is to head over to Fiverr, find a quality designer, and order a gig (only $5) for your preliminary book cover.

    3.Creating A Mouth watering Book Description

    When people go into a book store, most commonly, they decide whether or not they are going to buy the by book by reading the title, looking at the cover design, and reading the summary on the back.If the summary on the back doesn't catch their attention straight away, they don't bother opening the book to look around.
    The same principle applies to Amazon. Your title could be great, your cover eye catching, but if your book's description is bland and unappealing, forget it. Your could-be customer is going to hit that back button faster than you can blink.
    Everything looks great.....except your description looks like a bunch of text slapped onto the page! Sure, you can do a little bit of formatting through Author Central.....like bold, italicize, bullets, and numbers.....but wouldn't it be nice to be able to center your text, or insert an image, or even use the infamous Amazon orange color and font style and size for your headlines?

    Amazon HTML Coding Guide

    BOLD:
    <b>YOUR TEXT</b>
    ITALICS:
    <i>YOUR TEXT</i>
    CENTERED:
    <center>YOUR TEXT</center>
    CENTERED AND BOLD:
    <center><b>TEXT</center></b>
    CENTERED AND ITALIC:
    <center><i>TEXT</center>&lt:/i>
    UNDERLINED:
    <u>YOUR TEXT</u>
    BULLETED LIST:
    <ul>
    <li>TEXT</li>
    <li>TEXT</li>
    <li>TEXT</li>
    </ul>
    NUMBERED LIST:
    <ol>
    <li>TEXT</li>
    <li>TEXT</li>
    <li>TEXT</li>
    </ol>
    H1 Headline (The largest font Amazon allows):
    <h1>TEXT</h1>
    H2 HEADING (Amazon Orange):
    <h2>TEXT</h2>
    HEADLINE AND CENTERED:
    <center><h2>TEXT</h2></center>
    PICTURES ALIGNED LEFT WITH WORDS WRAPPED RIGHT:
    <img src="URL OF PIC" align="left"/>
    I know I know, if you know anything about HTML, this code looks completely crazy. But it works!
    You simply replace the "<" and ">" tags of normal HTML with "<" and "&gt:" respectively. (FYI: "lt" means less than and "gt" means greater than)

    Action Step: Write your book's description. I know you are not done writing your book's content yet, but you can still do a rough draft on your book's description. This will actually help you become more organized when writing your content.

    4.Promoting Your Book On And Off Amazon

    On Amazon Promotion

    1. Cover Branding: One great way to promote yourself on Amazon is through cover branding. If you have more than one book....and you should if you want to maximize your profits....consider having a common element among all your book covers.
    2. Tag Your Books With The Right Keywords: Amazon allows you to insert "tags"....or keywords you think customers will use to find your book....when you upload.One of the best effective way of discovering keywords people use to find books like yours is to check the tags customers have used to tag your competitor's books.For example, say you have a book on "Slow Cooker Recipes". Go to one of your competitor's listings, and check the section called "Tags Customers Associate With This Product". It's usually below the reviews section. Next to each tag will be a number. The higher the number, the more times that tag has been used to describe that particular book.
    3. Take Advantage Of Author Central:Author Central is an area where you can highlight and promote yourself, your pen name, or your brand. Next time you are on Amazon browsing for a book, click on one of the author names. If that author has set up an account with Author Central, you will land on their Author Page.
    On this page, you can do the following to promote yourself:

    • Add your image and biography.
    • Import your blog's RSS feed.
    • Upload video.
    • Add your twitter feed.

    Off Amazon promotion
    1. Build A Small Blog: I use a WordPress self hosted blog , but if you know nothing about using a self hosted blog, Blogger is just as good, super easy, and best of all free. There is also the free version of WordPress and Weebly.Your blog is going to serve as a way to build authority in your genre, further develop your brand, and build an email list of readers who want to be notified of future releases.To build your email list, place an opt in form at the top of your right sidebar. This placement has always worked best for me.
    2. Facebook: Create a Facebook Page in your author name. Be sure to use the same image on your Facebook page as you did on Author Central and on your blog. Remember....continuity and consistency is key to effectively branding yourself.
    3. Twitter: Last, but not least, create a Twitter account in your author name using the same image as your profile pic. You will also use Twitter to connect with readers, much like your Facebook page.
    Finally After Following the tips and uploading your book to Kindle you need promotions to make your book infront of whole world.
    Best way is taking advantage of 5 days free promotion provided by the Amazon.And during that free period use other websites which helps in getting more visitors to your book page.

    Additionally, before coming up a topic to write about it's important to do research. try to find what people what to know about. Check forums and other places on the net... try to know your audience as much as possible . Research gives you a good idea on what to concentrate on. this mainly applies to non-fiction

    Is the horror genre a good genre to start off with? How difficult would it be to write a single high quality horror genre book that can bring in at least thirty dollars a day?

    I'm talking about a high quality 200+ page book.
