I was searching a couple days ago about how to monetize a website and i couldnt find a good post about it. Maybe there is one but i didnt see it.

So i decided to search through the net and find possible ways to monetize your website.

I came up with the list below. I wont post websites/companies that offer specific services for each category as i want to give you just a simple guide for all the noobs out there ( including myself ). ;)

    So here it is:

    1) CPA/PPC etc
    2) Affiliate products
    3) Offer Services
    4) Sell products of your own/or others from ebay etc
    5) AdSense
    6) Newsletters ( u got to build it first and monetize it later )
    7) Ebooks/Seminars
    8) Text link ads
    9) Direct Advertising ( meaning companies/websites paying you directly for ad space on your website )
    10) Monetization Widgets
    11) RSS Feed Ads
    12) Marketplace ( meaning running a marketplace on your website and profiting from it )
    13) Paid Surveys/Polls ( get your visitors to fill out surveys )
    14) Pop ups/Pop unders
    15) Audio ads/Video ads

There could be many other ways to monetize your website but these are some of the most interesting and well known.

If you know any other way, feel free to post it here. It could be a good starting guide for noobs.

Any comments, feedback will be appreciated..
