Here's a quick way I've been using for the last few weeks to gain that many followers every day. It involves manual work even though I think it can be automated mostly if you want.

    1. Get a good looking picture of a hot girl (scrape off facebook or something, this is temporary!) and put it as the avatar and also make it look legit by posting a few real tweets per day.

    2. Edit your description or bio from the settings menu and say something like "#TeamFollowBack follow me back I won't bite :)". Be creative so that people can see that you expect them to follow back.

    3. Go to the #TeamFollowBack hastag and find a fake looking account. They are pretty similar looking and make sure they have an even amount of follows and followers. For example if the fake account follows 4500 people and 4400 people follow it back, it's perfect!

    4. Go to the actual FOLLOWERS on the fake account which means that those are people who follow back. I prefer to use accounts that have like 1-2k followers.

    5. Start following them manually until you see that you've reached a followers limit. It usually happens at around 800-900 when you start out first. Takes like 30 minutes to follow that many people. I just put some music on and go with it.

    6. Wait for at least 12 hours before you start unfollowing before people follow you back. I use http://manageflitter.com/ to automatically unfollow people who don't follow me.

    7. Repeat everything from step #3.

You can even unfollow people who are following you back and start it all over, but there's a risk that you'll follow the same people who you just unfollowed. I hope this helps you! -kumansk

Hey Kumansk, so if I unfollow all people who are following me back, do twitter suspend my account ? have you tested that yet ?

#6 bis: Speed up the process by pasting this into your URL bar after clicking "Not following back" (left-hand side menu)... ;-)

    Code:
    javascript: /* Sirgold Rules */ function check(){var c=new Array();c=window.document.getElementsByTagName('input');for(var i=0;i<c.length;i++){if(c[i].type=='checkbox'){c[i].checked=true;}}}check();

#6 ter: "Click Unfollow 0 Selected" (on the right-hand side, ignoring it says 0 Selected...)

    You're good! :D

nice one, i almost answered that i'm doing the same, but after re-reading your guide it seems i'm not :)

btw your method reminds me another method what i also used, but not anymore
i followed the spammers followers: you need to look for spammer accounts, they have a name like "feuikrsbdhz" which doesn't make any sense or they altered the name of a celebrity like "britneykspears", those accounts have only a few (2-3 at most) tweets with links or nothing at all, usually no profile pic/celeb pic and they followed the max limit per day/or the allowed 2,000, so they have a pretty awful followback rate like: 1000:70, that's when you come into the picture, because if those 70 people willing to follow an account which is obviously fake/spam, you have pretty good chances that they will follow you back too
it can be that the above method cannot be used anymore because of twitter getting more strict and you cannot find accounts from these type, but last time when i used this (~2 years ago), twitter was all over with these spam/fake accounts

back to present, now i'm also following the followers of #teamfollowback accounts, but i'm using accounts with few ten thousand followers base and i'm always using the same 4-5 (i'm guessing you need to search for those 4-5k accounts quite frequently), i'm doing this because every each of these bigger accounts receives a few hundred fresh followers per day what you can follow each day, you have a pretty good chance, they are still active and not abandoned accounts, so they can follow back if they want
and i'm using tweetattacks for following and unfollowing as well, it's more convenient than manageflitter at least for me

That's cool. With the site I can unfollow just about anyone in under 5 minutes. I don't like using tools like tweet attacks much, but they work so i got nothing against them

If someone was to create a website where follow4follow is semi-automated between users, they would make bank.

Just tested and it works like a charm both on firefox and chorme in order to select all those that aren't following you. If it's not working for you it's because you:

    - you're not pasting the js code to the URL bar as instructed
    - have js disabled
    - your browser / configuration has other issues

    Regards.

I started using the free version of tweet attacks now. Works fine you can follow followers of these accounts easily. Just press "start task" after it's finished over and over again until you hit the daily follower limit.
