I saw a lot of newbie or naive person scammed by a new guy with 10 minutes old account and 3 messages in this way :
    - Selling facebook page
The guy take the page and say goodbye

    - Buying facebook page
The guy take the money and say goodbye

The solution is not to not to trade with the new account, a new account smell scam but it can be a serious buyer or seller
This method is not 100% foolproof but I think this is enough to deter the scammer, and it allows you to see very quickly if it is serious or scam so do not waste too much time

The solution is to create an account on "freelancer.com", they take around 3-4% of the money spend, it work like that :

Eg you want to sell a facebook page :
    Step 1
Create the project and define in very detailed way what will be sold or buy
    Invite the other guy

    Step 2
The buyer pay all the price at freelancer.com
They take and keep the money

    Step 3
The seller give the facebook page
When the buyer have the facebook page he unlock the money
Nice deal, all is good !

    *Step 4 if scam
The buyer have change the password and dont want unlock the money ?
No worry, just report the deal, a moderator will come to check the proof and unlock the payment for you
For ask a moderator you need the buyer and seller need to pay twice the price of the initial deal, no worry the winner get all the money (including the fee for the moderator)

    Quickly
You sell your page for $100, the guy try to scam you, he lost $200 and you win $200 (least 3-4% of the initial deal)

You need to be very careful, when buying or selling anything like this
Good idea to use freelancer or an escrow company

A third person is a good option too. 1st person send money to "third person", 2nd person send fanpage to "third person". Next the "third person" send the fanpage and the money to costumer and seller.

Helpful post OP! Someone I know is doubtful for opting this method considering that he may get scammed. This would help him avoid the scammers in this kind of trade.

He is just spamming everywhere on all threads like this, posts something that has nothing related to the thread. I had seen some of his posts earlier today.
