For a local business, would it make sense to find local bloggers that have decent traffic to guest blog with them to rank higher in seo, or would it be better to hire someone from marketplace to guest blog on sites that are strong and have lots of traffic. Thanks.

Yes, it makes sense to reach out to local bloggers, particularly those who blog about things related to your niche. Be careful when buying guest posts that claim to publish articles on "strong and high traffic" sites. Remember that you need targeted traffic, which is what local bloggers can offer you.

These are the best links you can get...

    IMO do it yourself

I am doing it weekly for each site with ScrapeBox

Yes, you can manually reach out the local bloggers relevant to your niche and get guest posts for you.

But is manually reaching out to local bloggers really going to help with SEO ranking? What if they are not exactly niche related but maybe just a bit

It's worth the time and effort, so long as you target the right bloggers. Sending pitches and getting rejected or ignored can feel frustrating, but the potential rewards are reason enough to keep going at it. I don't mind if the site isn't about the exact same niche I'm in. What matters is you showcase your authority, drive targeted traffic to your site and get a quality link.

The word "outreach" has become so popular these days. Of course, its of good quality and helps in ranking. But I can say, its going to be tough to find the local bloggers with traffic and I dont think marketplace sellers have got something like this with LOCAL TRAFFIC. If you can find them yourself, You are good to go.

My issue is not about driving traffic from these bloggers. More so wondering if local bloggers guest blogging will give me a bigger boost in SEO rather then outreach services here in Marketplace. Just because google sees it as a local blogger and this local blogger is talking about a local company, so I'm assuming more seo power than PBN's and Outreach services here on marketplace?

That depends on the blogs you've got or the sellers have got for you. I am saying, getting links from the local blogs that talk about local company is absolutely higher in power that any PBNs. There is no doubt in it. About the outreach services, you may not find the blogs with local traffic (may be in your niche but not your exact location), but they are still good than any PBNs.

It's difficult to say for certain. The thing is, many outreach services here or elsewhere are not the kind of guest posts you want pointing to your money site. Building a PBN is still a great idea, as nobody can deny the ranking power it provides as long as you set things up correctly. You might be overthinking here, so I suggest you look into building a PBN while sending out pitches to local bloggers. Outreach will take time anyway, so might as well use that time to build other links to your site.

Both options are good. You can also rank it with PBN that has good metrics to diversify your link sources. Then support it with citations and reviews.

I don't think I will recommend PBN to anyone I know, because after Fred update it's like shooting yourself in the foot.

Next up, local bloggers blogging in your niche. It's like looking for a needle in the haystack. Even if you land good blogs chances are they are not local.

Last but not the least, I think niche relevant outreach is always the best available recourse for any marketer and if you can top it up with editorial outreach you're going to win big on both SEO as well as branding your business.

No. I can offer PBN to the entire BHW community at prices that will knock your socks off.

I don't do it because I know SEO and I don't wish to burn others to make money.

It's like putting your money in a sinking ship. The ship will sail but how far it will eventually sink, sooner or later.

Local links are great for local SEO. Any guest post would be helpful. A mixture of the two would be good.

Just keep in mind, publishers will strip your links from a guest post if the page they're linking to is very "salesy" or provides very little value. Publishers are becoming more SEO savvy and understanding the outreach game better and better, so make sure your content is "linkable".
