Guest post editorial news VS PBN - i'm very angry !!!

Hi everyone,
I'm a little bit angry but i'm sure that you help me to find the best solution for solve this problem about link building.
I have an italian affiliate web site (Amazon Niche). I do all things in safe (white hat) 300 pages of content, 1300 words each page spent: 3200 dollar of content.
Then i spent 4500 dollar for 42 backlinks (Italian guest post news editorial news). In total: 5700 euro. Earnings from Jan 2021 in Amazon revenue is: 1k.

Now the problem is this:
Only easy informational keywords rank well, not commercial strong difficult keyword like my competitors.

My 2 competitors have 40 pages NOT 300 like me and rank very well with only 50 PBN and they rank with strong commercial keywords.

Ok, my website have 1 year and half (Is it this the cause?),
My conlusion is that pbn works better then guest post generalist about news.
Is it possible? Very strange.

Now i bought an PBN service on BHW hope that works because is an italian website.
If PBN works, i will buy PBN website.

if the PBN is good enough and you get homepage links, it will have better results compared to guest posts.

Really now.. ranking isn't as straightforward as it might seem. There are a lot of factors that influence rankings. But when it comes to backlinks, if something works, why reinvent the wheel? Just go with what works with your competitors and do more/better. So more PBN links of stronger authority should work better than spending thousands on guest posts.

Can you explain me the sense of indexing an URL. If there Is an sitemap and GSC Is enough, no? 2) do you think Is fine that I bought on bhw an english pbn service of my website Is italian ?

@jalo39 PBNs will always work better, because they are stronger. Guest posts are just links coming from internal pages of a site, they are not as powerful. However, it's not black and white. If you have wikipedia, bbc, huffingtonpost links then that is a sign of authority imo. Also if you are linked to by authority sites in your niche then that is also a good thing.

If you are wanting to keep things a bit more clean, what I would do is buy PBN links to your guest posts (you can use $10/link one time PBNs), You may piss off the original owner of the site, so you need to think this through, or maybe discuss with them upfront I don't know. This will power up your Guest Posts and you will see better results. Alternatively, you can buy more guest posts, they do not have to be editorial, just good sites linking to you in your niche or closely related.

The other two options are either PBN subscriptions or build your own and point those directly to your site. The reason why I talk about rental PBNs is because they are maintained and do not have a ton of links on them. The seller has an incentive to keep the OBL low and keep the blogs alive since he is getting paid every month. If you build your own, that is more $ upfront but also a lot more powerful.

I have an experience using PBN and Guest post.

Most of the time, PBN do better than guest post because the backlink comes from the homepage. However, the risk is bigger and could be fatal.
That's why we use guest post as "the balancer", "diversify", or whatever you wanna call it.

Here's what I found based on my experience:
- Guest post is good for increasing our brand site and authority. As you know that Google loves EAT site when it comes to YMYL.
- PBN is good for rank keywords.

That's why I always using Guest Post with brand anchor text, while PBN using targeted keyword (LSI).

How you got to know that your Competitor is ranking with 50 PBN ?? PBN Links can easily be hided by blocking crawlers.

May be your competitors have more then 50 PBN or less then 50 PBN

PBN Homepage Links are Powerful , No Doubt.

I did not think about it, i can buy pbn for guest post, good idea thanks. i have 2 question, first is How can i know that a seller of pbn have a low OBL ? 2) does an english pbn works for italian website?

There is not only Semrush, Ahrefs and majestec to discover it, i use others tools that seems reliable to find backlinks.

Yups, increasing brand awareness is very important, it will bring your reader (buyer) back, increasing dwell time, and decreasing bounce rate.
While increasing authority site will improve EAT for Google. Sometimes, the authority will bring your low competitive keyword to the page one or even big 3 without any hassle.
I built 10 PBN and limit them to 8 outbond link.

PBN Is always better option to outrank your competitor but PBN should be that good and not have footprints I suggest you check out seogrowthzone they offering pretty goon PBN Offer which always work for me

I'm amazon affiliate lover.
I didn't write content such as "the best abc for xyz", "abc review", or such.
Rather, I created that make people read in depth... tutorial site!
In order to execute my tutorial, my reader need to buy some tools or products, which is I pointed them to my aff-link.

I also tell them that I may earn little penny for that purchase, but without adding additional cost to them.

This strategy can cover brand awareness, EAT, and strong community at the same time.
